Think about it this way, all of the paladin quests have been so bad that paladin players use them as 1-mana do nothings consistently.
Love the subtle reference at 15:44, to this day that is still one of the most satisfying perks! :D
I played against one of this the other day but didn't know what was happening. I was playing spite mage with talisman.
Guy passes for three turns, then plays piper. I play keysmith and think "well, whatever piper drew must be importart" so i picked explosive runes just in case it wasn't a turn 20 combo deck.
Opponent emotes, plays the 3/6 and the quest very fast and surrenders right after.
Now I get the joke xD

In second fight, u can end your last turn. So your dragon for 8 mana deal 2 damage to enemy hero and use his effect))

Tried this deck out and so far it’s incredibly fun at scrub ranks of Wild. Would recommend one Piper.

It's possible to play Front Lines as early as turn 4 in Standard too by using Mailbox Dancer and Barbaric Sorceress. (The Mailbox dancer has two upsides, giving you a coin AND giving your opponent a coin.)

RNG does the strangest things sometime... played a match with my mage deck yesterday, turn 3 arcane intellect drew incanters flow x2.

Why not mulligan the quest when going second? Extra chance for Alura & you dont need a spell for the spellburst
Because then Alura casts the quest with her spellburst and you lose the game.

Heh. So salty. I'm not saying he played a quality deck. I am, however, paying respect to him for sticking around. Yes, he used lots of RNG and freeze to stay alive, (valid strats last I checked) - but at least he didn't just quit. So, again: respect o7.

This seemed very doable... if you have the cards. At the very least you need to craft High Abbess Alura if you don't have it. I know I had to. But I didn't have Sphere of Sapience or any of the legendary quests that start in your hand. So I ran Mailbox Dancer and two copies of Witchwood Piper.
I managed to pull the combo off early twice out of 5 games. I don't want to push my luck any further than that. I'll just be grinding losses while I wait for the perfect set up.
So this is the new Stealer of Souls Warlock... wonder if they'll ban this one too, lol

play nozdormu pass to 10 mana and then play the 9 mana card
That requires you to have 2 cards in hand instead of 1.
@@JackIsNotInTheBox yes but it could save your game to have 2 different way to pull the combo and a 8/8 is still good to pull with the first one
@@evermilion4221 I see, you're saying to include BOTH ways. But then again, if you give them 10 mana and they spam the board, your combo is ruined.
I think it's better to just go high roll or bust. Plus, at 10 mana they have access to too many board clears.

Wow, that, my friend, is the shittiest high roll-only deck you can ever imagine. It's literally gonna work like once per 10 or so matches, and combо still not guarantees you a victory. With that stuff you can be just the worst possible matchup for afk opponents, boar rogues and escape/concede priests or whatever. Anyway, nice guaranteed spell idea, I like it
