Last time I went a few years ago, I went with my husband, his sister, mother, and a friend of ours. Husband is not a big theme/amusement park guy and was only really having fun seeing how much I was enjoying myself. Until we went on this and I looked over at him at one point mid-ride and he had the largest smile on his face, and immediately after it was over he told me that was easily his favorite ride in the park. Pretty sure he went on it like three more times over the course of our trip.
@@Izakcatloverunfortunate for you, but it really is one of the best from every angle seen, from the rider’s perspective and from an engineering perspective
I love how they kept what worked and the design got updated, gold effects for the eye, brighter lazers, added spirits along the walls, fluffy the snakes retractable fangs & in the final hallway that’s dark with usually nothing going on, added “magic” effects give the illusion the tomb is all crumbling down with the music. Boy do I wish they hadn’t changed the voice actor and kept the original from the 90s. the Indy model looks great but he sounded a lot more like Harrison Ford. I think I’ll be telling my children how at the end he’s all huffing and puffing & originally says “Not bad for tourists!” Or my favorite, I’d always yell back mockingly to Indy in tradition “Tourists! Why’d it have to be tourists?!” Music blaring classic John Williams themes as you exist the ride. Ahh good times. Adventure land is definitely a favorite, If you haven’t checked out galaxies edge, you definitely should. Cheers LucasFilm fans!
Wow, I feel like I'm 9 years old all over. Glad it hasn't changed since it opened. I remember standing in line for an hour and a half the first 6 months it opened but it was well worth the wait!
I was the same age when it opened and I have great memories of that first visit. Even the line queue is nostalgic because they put so much work into the atmosphere of it (and I spent a LOT of time in that line for the first several years of the ride's existence).
I kinda wish they brought back the old blue spirit of Mara design, it was much more scarier and better looking than what we have now, the projections on the doors and Mara still look phenomenal though for the chamber of riches
Last time I was there (summer 2023) I could swear they made the Indy animatronic’s hair gray for old Indy. Can anyone confirm this who has been there? Cant tell from the vids
ok so let me get this straight the ride is slow right it just feels fast cause people keep telling me this ride is slow it only feels fast cause of the bumpiness.

I went to Disneyland for my birthday last month and this was definitely one of my favorite rides
The best ride at Disneyland
I have not been on it, but I bet it is.
@@amandamartins9985you should! its really fun:)

@@swaggyisaxo I'm sorry to hear that.
5:59 yep
This will always be the best ride at Disneyland.
Fr. This and space mountain or the Matterhorn are my favorite.
No I hate the ride

Good to know the ride is looking good and strong this year
Actually, the best ride at Disneyland is rise up through resistance
My very favorite ride at Disneyland a big thrill of it's kind it's for everyone!
Love this ride one of my favorite rides at Disneyland and Disney world❤
I was there on January 23, 2024. Even though it was scary, this ride made me very excited. 🤩🤩🤩
Very intersting thumbnail, good choice making the boulder scene upside down, really caught my eye!
That makes a lot more sense now, I was looking at the thumbnail for so long. XD

6:09 here comes the boulder!
Best ride hands down - Splash second place!
In the 90s I’m sure when the bolder came he said “back up! Back up!”
Indy will always be my favorite childhood ride and movies by George Lucas .
Me too

"You looked into my eyes! Your path now leads to the Gates of Doom!" 🐍
You know what’s ironic is that Disneyland had this ride BEFORE Disney bought Indiana jones.
1st comment #DisneyDiva. I will be there in March 31st I can't wait. Birthday vacation my 40th birthday. I hope to meet Tiana. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Man the last few times I’ve been on it the boulder scene’s always on B mode ;-;
I sat in the front right. The giant snake that tilts down felt like it was coming straight to me.
First a little like I was playing a video game during the queue lol
how bad is the drop?? i want to try this but i am hella terrified of thrilling drops!!
❤❤❤
Good ride. I went there with my ex girlfriend and my classmates.
Who else ducked on instinct at the boulder part???
Is this after the refurbishing ?
Yes
Even with half of the shit non-functional or in B-mode, it still beats the hell out of any newer ride
THERES A DROP
This attraction rocks big time until it gives you back spasms. Safety first before you ride it with people you know and trust.
ok so let me get this straight the ride is slow right it just feels fast cause people keep telling me this ride is slow it only feels fast cause of the bumpiness.
Ahhhh they could have done better. I always thought the temple of doom, runaway mining car scene would have been a better ride .
SNAKES! You guys are on your?
On your own!
Ancient Egyptian times
Snakes you guys on your own
I’m at the point in my life where I can go to Disneyland by myself and have a good time!!🗣️🥴😁🏰🎢🎠🎡
it would be awesome if the lines were always this empty.
