No, Deathwing was in Warcraft's history, although what I don't understand, was that he was killed by Archmage Khadgar on Draenor, so I have no idea how he got on Azeroth. It said his body was brought into a volcano by other dragons, but it was on Draenor.

This song brings back so many memories. People wanted old WoW back and while there are aspects of old WoW that were good, the real magic came from the time period. There was something so special about the early internet that we're never going to get back. The way people socialized and played games was entirely different then. Shame most of the WoW machinima and community stuff died with Cataclysm. Cataclysm was the end of the internet's infancy and it just so happens they hit at the same time.
Oh I totally agree about classic, it's still great today but the real magic will always be with the time period of play.

Im sure others heard it too, the comment below me, Vriskas, mentions it too. At some point it sounds like "End of the world of Starcraft" and I thought that was an intentional joke. It wasnt till I looked up the lyrics here that I realized what was being sung in the background. Now I finally hear the song correctly with "Deathwing had his time alone" but the "his time" where the s and t meet, matches at the same point, so warcraft sounds like starcraft. Funny how the mind works :D
I'm truly sad that my favourite game, the game that was such a big part of my childhood, the game with such a wonderful community is being abandoned and treated like shit from the husk of the once great company that made it. But gems like this will never get old.

Not to jump on the bandwagon or anything, but all the Pandaria lore isn't just something Blizzard came up with for MoP. The Pandarens and Pandaria has been part of the lore since Warcraft 2. Only reason that people keep bitching is because they don't know about it. Most WoW players have never even played Warcraft. But to someone who has, the "addition" of Pandarens is no new thing, it's actually pretty nostalgic.

The thing that's wierd is how big Pandaria is. I mean, before MoP, it was 3 continents and the South Sea Islands, and it was that way since Warcraft. The common conseption of Pandaria was an Island with a size between Tel'Abim and Plunder Isle!
Suddenly it's a CONTINENT the size of Northrend with a mountain higher than Hyjal and Temple of Storms (Tallest mountains lorewise). And a race (Mogu) older than Trolls, Elves and Aqir (Eldest races lorewise).
They really took a big dump on the lore.
