English noha / English latmiyat which poses the question, as recited in Dua Nudba, Where is Imam al-Hassan (as)? Where is Imam al-Hussain (as)? Where are the sons of Imam al-Hussain (as)? These lanterns of guidance, sons of Prophet Muhammad (saw), who Allah (swt) refers to as the illuminating lantern of Nur did not give their lives in vain! Therefore, we must ask this question in order to evaluate our responsibility towards upholding the message of Muhammad (saw) and Ale Muhammad (as), who we follow. Their sacrifices have provided us with the freedom to implement the true path to Allah (swt). In light of this, it is our duty to represent the characteristics they taught us to the best of our abilities.

In solidarity, the heavens and earth will grieve
Divinely pure ones, oppressed in tyranny
Sacrificed their lives for truth and unity,
equality, and freedom for humanity!

These are the sons of the one that God (swt) calls...
An-Nur, As-Siraj, Al-Muneer
These are the masters of the youth of paradise,
Who gave their lives to guide us on to the right,

Victorious they lay... martyred on the sands,
1400 years the true message still stands
Kings of Kerbala... that stood hand in hand
Blessings on to them... you and I, we send

How could the sons of Muhammad (saw) be slain?
Ask yourself, Ayn al-Hassani (as) wal Hussain (as)?
Ayn al-Hassani (as)? Ayn al-Hussain(as)?
Ayna abna al-Hussain (as)?

Exemplary, our Imams (as) in every way,
A revolution in our hearts we'll start today,
To fight against all injustice is what they'd say
To those believers that would follow in their way!

Who gave their lives to guide us on to the right,

Oh every Muslim should love... Muhammad's (saw) Ahlulbayt (as),
For it's with them the holy book does resonate
And it's in their footsteps... we'll need to emulate,
To be the best we can... before it is too late

Ask yourself, Ayn al-Hassani (as) wal Hussain (as)?

With certainty, we'll hear on that judgement day
What the treacherous oppressors have to say
To answer why they travelled so far astray
With the brutality and evil they displayed!

These are the masters of the youth of paradise,
Who gave their lives to guide us on to the right,

On that appointed day... The saviour will arrive
The final and awaited one... is still alive
The salvation for the... whole of mankind
The proof of God's (swt) existence... in this very time

How could the sons of Muhammad (saw) be slain?
Ask yourself, Ayn al-Hassani (as) wal Hussain (as)?
Ayn al-Hassani (as)? Ayn al-Hussain(as)?
Ayna abna al-Hussain (as)?

Oh Muslims! This should make you realise,
That the ark of Al-Hussain (as) cannot capsize,
And to board it is a must for you and I,
To radiate the best of virtues in our lives!

Truth and freedom... and justice is what was earned
So learn from Kerbala... then practice what you've learned
Fidelity, patience... love and charity
Adopt these traits they are... a part of your duty!

Infallibles who hadn't given their lives in vain!
Live your lives like... Hassani (as) wal Hussain (as)!

Salaam. Thank you for your question. As recited in Dua Nudba, "Where is Imam al-Hassan (as)? Where is Imam al-Hussain (as)? Where are the sons of Imam al-Hussain (as)?" These questions provoke us to think about what our divinely guided Imams (as) sacrificed, what happened to them, and how they were oppressed.
