My dilemma before buying it: does the faster speed repetition than acoustic grand pianos make it more difficult to play advanced classical music (especially with difficult fast passages) on acoustic grand pianos, if you practice mainly on the Casio GP 510?

@MichaelIsGreat no they are not hybrid at all. And it seems the touch is quite lighter than acoustic grand Pianos, even set at the heaviest sensitivity touch. I'm currently playing the GP310 in a library regularly. Yes I do love playing it l, the touch is very nice, but it might be more difficult to play advanced classical music, especially that with difficult and very fast passages, on acoustic grand pianos. Even because, as I stated above, the speed repetition of the Casio GP5/310 is faster than acoustic grand pianos. It means that it's simplified. That's why I didn't buy it yet, because of the light touch, and I haven't yet fully realised how much is more difficult to play it on acoustic grand pianos.

@MichaelIsGreat Sorry, but you are mistaken. Examples of digital hybrid pianos are the Yamaha Avangrand NX1, or Kawai Novus 10 , they have acoustic grand action. You can search pictures of the mechanic/action of these pianos and compared with the pictures of the mechanic of the 510. The 510 has not wooden but real hammers, and the keys are the same wood and similar length of the Bechstein acoustic grand pianos. Above this it's not hybrid. But the main thing that worries me before buying is , as I wrote, the lighter touch and the faster speed repetition

@MichaelIsGreatthe Main issue is what I said about the lighter touch, about what you don't answer. And be aware of nothing, I stated the models Number, I know it. You have to search the pictures of the model of the action and compare it. You are rude and you don't answer about the touch and the speed repetition faster than acoustic grand pianos.. Now I try to find the pictures, and share it for you. Even if as offensive person you don't really deserve it.

@MichaelIsGreat I don't know how to paste pics on a UA-cam reply. But that's the addresses with them, of the Casio 510 and Kawai Novus 10
