My favorite part is watching Fuslie melting and falling in love, then also her face when he hit the first high note. Her realizing it's like a new level of Wobbles had been unlocked. And lastly melting even more when she finally remembered he beatboxes. Not to mention the stopping power of his voice. Kai was tossed into the deep end when he joined, and he unfortunately didn’t get directioned towards something he would’ve enjoyed more (even before Wobbles showed up.) He wanted to reset his game status shortly after with just a rock & a single guide (not wanting a legion around him with guns & everything else a new player would _obviously_ feel weird with [it really is strange & unfortunate they didn’t guide him into being more of a speaking role like he otherwise does on his streams & like Uncle Baby Billy was doing the first few days as well and instead had him go towards Rust game mechanics which obviously wouldn’t work for a brand new player that’s suddenly a “leader”… oh well.]) That interaction going the way it did seems like an unfortunate outcome of an entirely avoidable situation that Kai was seemingly guided into (and not something against the music itself or anything; many in his chat seemed to be enjoying it! *obviously ignoring the griefer chatters that want him to remove any new person or group he encounters.) Could Kai have handled it better? Sure. Do we need to be so negative towards someone being put into a non-ideal situation like that? I’ll be fair and say no. Again, why did Kai (effectively as soon as he joined the server) get a gun and an army following his every word and set out to fight people as if he knows Rust or had been aware of anything on the server up to that point? He’s more conversational & interpersonal than that… unforced error on those guiding him when he joined, I’d say. It had him doing something he didn’t want to be doing. Simple as that (while entirely avoidable if those guiding him went a different direction with things to more of what Kai does on his streams just in-game), and Wobbles was just caught in that.
See, things, people, and moments like this make what the rust community (and somewhat the gaming community) is and why its always been so enjoyable just to hop into a server and not need to actually play the game when you're tired of getting wiped constantly, or even if you simply just suck at this game, to just interact socially with the other players. Yes, Rust takes skill, yes it's a very difficult game to learn.. but while you learn how to get better, you will ALWAYS have people such as Mr. Wobbles that'll make logging in every day more enjoyable and tolerable. Out of my 14k hours of Rust, the main reason i've always enjoyed the game is because of the interactions, and the moments that i've made with people throughout my time playing Rust. Great video, all of these clips are moments that these streamers (who most of don't play Rust) will always... ALWAYS remember, and there is NO other game that's better to do what you do. He didn't appretiate it for what it was, which is kinda hard with these bangers. Imma need a psychologist over here to conduct a thorough behavioral analysis on this here ungrateful test subject.
Kai was tossed into the deep end when he joined, and he unfortunately didn’t get directioned towards something he would’ve enjoyed more (even before Wobbles showed up.)
He wanted to reset his game status shortly after with just a rock & a single guide (not wanting a legion around him with guns & everything else a new player would _obviously_ feel weird with [it really is strange & unfortunate they didn’t guide him into being more of a speaking role like he otherwise does on his streams & like Uncle Baby Billy was doing the first few days as well and instead had him go towards Rust game mechanics which obviously wouldn’t work for a brand new player that’s suddenly a “leader”… oh well.])
That interaction going the way it did seems like an unfortunate outcome of an entirely avoidable situation that Kai was seemingly guided into (and not something against the music itself or anything; many in his chat seemed to be enjoying it! *obviously ignoring the griefer chatters that want him to remove any new person or group he encounters.)
Could Kai have handled it better? Sure. Do we need to be so negative towards someone being put into a non-ideal situation like that? I’ll be fair and say no.
Again, why did Kai (effectively as soon as he joined the server) get a gun and an army following his every word and set out to fight people as if he knows Rust or had been aware of anything on the server up to that point? He’s more conversational & interpersonal than that… unforced error on those guiding him when he joined, I’d say. It had him doing something he didn’t want to be doing. Simple as that (while entirely avoidable if those guiding him went a different direction with things to more of what Kai does on his streams just in-game), and Wobbles was just caught in that.
See, things, people, and moments like this make what the rust community (and somewhat the gaming community) is and why its always been so enjoyable just to hop into a server and not need to actually play the game when you're tired of getting wiped constantly, or even if you simply just suck at this game, to just interact socially with the other players. Yes, Rust takes skill, yes it's a very difficult game to learn.. but while you learn how to get better, you will ALWAYS have people such as Mr. Wobbles that'll make logging in every day more enjoyable and tolerable. Out of my 14k hours of Rust, the main reason i've always enjoyed the game is because of the interactions, and the moments that i've made with people throughout my time playing Rust. Great video, all of these clips are moments that these streamers (who most of don't play Rust) will always... ALWAYS remember, and there is NO other game that's better to do what you do.
