Really appreciate your videos especially the long formatted ones as you have a great way of explaining your thought process. I am glad to have found you through reddit!

Thank you! I am glad the longer ones work out - I worry that they get too long sometimes lol

Great video thanks Christine!! Do you have a video explaining the W/M/Q/Y parameter? Thank you!

Not more than I cover here - it's columns on a date table, so if you look up date tables and then just drop the columns you want to use in a parameter, that's how its done. I should really do a video on date tables though, that's a good idea...

Hi Christine, I love watching your videos. If I may ask, how did you learn Power BI in terms of some of the resources that was used? Just curious😅

Thank you! It has mostly just been iterative learning by doing projects over the course of years for me - every time I make a new report, I run into something I haven't done before and either do an internet search and follow a tutorial or trial-and-error my way through it. There were a couple of those instances in this video! UA-cam is my go-to, because you get to see how to do things in real-time with all of the steps. I did do the MS certification (PL-300), which I think was good to get a handle on what all you have to work with in the tool... it forces you to really get familiar with the parts you don't use day-to-day.
At the end of the day, it really boils down to using it a lot and doing an internet search when you get stuck - like most things probably. 🤣

@@bi-ome Thanks so much for your reply. I think doing projects and searching the internet for solutions helps a lot when one is stuck

    Thanks :)
I want to start the dashboard myself from scratch.
I checked your Github link, and no dataset is provided. Just the dashboard.
Can you provide the dataset itself to import it to my local Power BI desktop?
It would be a great help if there is any documentation or data dictionary about the dataset.

Yeah, that's because the dataset itself isn't mine so I don't feel I should distribute in my GitHub. I pulled it from Pradeep's Tableau file he shares here - there's a download button, if you open the Tableau file there's a way to export the data (don't ask me how, it's been almost a year and I am not a Tableau person - I just clicked around until I found the option to): public.tableau.com/app/profile/pradeepkumar.g/viz/HRAttritionDashboardRWFD_16570446563570/viz

"Attrition Trend" does not interact with the other graphs : ) Not sure how to do it, but I noticed it didnt change :!

Not sure what you mean, I opened it up to try it and it does interact for me. Do you have the visual interactions disabled maybe? They can be turned off for the whole report or on a visual-by-visual basis.
