I think Ahyeon is not good for BM. It break the balance of the group. Because the voice level of this girl is very much better than the rest of the members. I think Ahyeon should work solo with his wonderful voice. There are many restrictions in the group.

The topic with Ahyeon is that It doesn't depend on YG, as if YG could make Ahyeon's health improve, it's not about him making her come back, it depends on her and her family. Ahyeon may not be coming back in a while. It is her personal thing that she has to fight against! It’s not anything that you guys can affect on and you only have to give her some time an peace until she decides to come back. She will hardly come back for the February 1st song, so stop being selfish with the talent and effort of the other members.
As a very old YG stan, it really makes me happy to see such statements. I feel like YG really supports BAEMON personally and wholeheartedly and It's actually rare to see the boss of the company announce about a hiatus member face to face and i love yg for this, They will undoubtedly continue to be a successful group that grows very quickly. Hoping to never see the bad management policies of previous years again!

Plus we already know they will be on a tour by 2025. Which is a way more intimate and better way to see them live. The Korean audience so far doesn’t even seem to be the target audience. All the content so far released and the times it’s released at, all point to them trying to impress the international crowd. You can act like you’re a fan or something all you want but your bitterness is hard to hide 🤷🏻♀️

Ahyeon didn't come out, she stayed with Baby Monster. The reason Ahyeon didn't make the initial debut was because of her health problems and she will join later when she recovers.

This was exciting news to hear, they are coming back with new song in a month ("Stuck in the Middle"), mini album in April, and Ahyeon is still part of the group just needs to recover. It is so good that YG himself is personally looking after Babymonster and that we now have clarity about their next music release and Ahyeon's return, although not sure when. Wish Ahyeon a complete and speedy recovery and looking forward to OT7 sometime this year.
We know for sure Ahyeon won't return for Stuck in the Middle, since it's 1 month away and very soon they'll film the MV for it and YG said it's still unclear when she'll return. There's a chance she could return for the mini-album in April, but I'd say it's probably more realistic in the second half of 2024

The hard fact is this, if they don't go to promote on music shows and let fans join their pre-recordings and stages, they will not build a fandom in Korea as quickly as they need to for a new group which will ultimately hurt their growth and acceptance. The YG fans (Mostly Blinks) at this point are looking for someone to support and if YG isn't putting a group in front of our eyes that we can cheer for in person and meet in person, those fans will move to other companies groups. They are a group minors. They are not built for music show promotions as Korea has put strict laws on the industry restricting the hours minors can work. They can't work past 10pm ever as a minor, and most pre-recordings for new groups happen in the very early hours of the morning (2am 4am etc) or very late at night the day before 10 or 11pm. YG has kept his groups off music shows for so long and even when BP did decide to make appearances, they only did it for about a week, which doesn't justify the expense or investment in elaborate sets or detailed graphics videos that the broadcasters have to provide them. So because YG has no good will build up with KBS, MBC, SBS or MNET, it will be hard to get his new group a preferred prerecording time. If they don't get in front of fans on these shows, they can't grow. That is the hard fact. We got no music shows with Batter up. All vidoes and performances were recorded without fans, there were no live shows, no live stages and no live performances. NONE.

Well, we dont know nothing about Ahyeon, maybe they are discussing contractual clauses with her family, so we just dont know when or if she will really get back to the group. Remember when Mashiho and Yedam entered hiatus for healthy and study and then... Both Yedam and Mashiho were the oldest YG trainees at the time, Mashiho since 2013 and Yedam since 2010/11.

Plus, YG is not all about HipHop, that tells me ya'll are not real YG fans because if you were you would know that groups like AKMU and WINNER exist, they don't do hip hop (winner if they do they do it as a b side).. AKMU is all about the vocals and amazing melodies, nothing is hiphop for them. So im guessing BABYMONSTER will go for the AKMU and WINNER path, and I LOVE IT.

Don't know why you are surprised. YG did announce that Ahyeon was sick when Batter Up was released last month. It was fairly obvious that Ahyeon was under vocal stress in her training for Gone, Dangerously and Scars to your beautiful. Her YG trained range is mid range singer rapper for at least 4 years. The occasional High note was added by herself to add colour to survive in a highly talented group. The YG changeup to mainly High range vocalist was clearly a High risk strategy and rushed in the Final evaluation. Popular and impactful but I did think a High risk strategy. Lets pray for a full recovery but Ahyeon will likely return as a mid range singer rapper in the future. Pharita in Christmas without you looks like she will be doing the heavy lifting in the High range vocals supporting Rami. Rami takes lead High range vocalist.
If ahyeon s health problem is about her vocal / voice means there is some problem with her throat if that is really her illness well it takes years to restore her vocal/ voice but she can not do high notes again if she'll sing again there is some like this situation in one heavy singer in the Philippines Gigi who sang unholy now if I'm not mistaken it already a year she's nor been active because of her throat

Ahyeon will not join BM. The 2nd song to be released in Feb 1, 2024 will still be 6 members. And the mini album in April 2024, we wont see Ahyeon. I think she's already out but for some reasons they cant announce it.
