Mountain Dream Home - Milling Lumber with the Sawmill

In which Nick mills the trees we felled last week into lumber, using his Hud-son bandsaw mill, Stella has a birthday, and we finally get in a bit of garden...just before it hails.

The beams, posts, and rafters milled in this video are all for timber framing the mudroom, which is being built onto the front of our "little house." But we're also working towards the workshop, which will be built in the clear space where the mill is set up now.
We're also pushing to get ready for our summer trip, which will include a trip to Montana for a Permaculture Design Course at Wheaton Labs.
