    I feel so lucky to be in China right now. In two years I bought so many rings, earrings and necklaces in white gold with lab grown diamonds. And I wouldn’t even post the price I’m getting because I don’t want upset people in USA, Canada or Europe (I’m European). I’m waiting currently for my dream ring with 4,32c oval diamond with a halo. And oh boy, the price I paid…

    I am a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America (so many years ago ... when they were still in Santa Monica!) I agree with this 100%. Excellent video, thanks for posting this. Color is more important than clarity, but let us not forget another "C" - the cut.

    • @LabGrownDiamondInfo
      @LabGrownDiamondInfo  5 місяців тому +4

      Yes, the cut is very important. It's one of the only things I know in life that if it's cut poorly it can have a higher weight. So you pay more. If it was cut correctly, it might weigh less, look better, and cost less.
      It's crazy.
      Thank you for your comment.

      @mrbutch308 what's the point of a lab grown without there being an actual diamond. With today's prices people are way better off buying naturals that once the lab grown bubble bursts will probably double in value again. And u work for GIA? Please

    Recently bought a 1.4 carat lab diamond for my fiancée. I focused on cut, using a set of tolerances I'd found online for the cut angles that produce the best brilliance. We stayed in the near colorless range with very few inclusions. My fiancée loves her ring and diamond and the fire it exudes is pretty amazing. I can't even imagine how much we'd have spent for the exact same mined diamond. Lab diamonds are absolutely beautiful but so much more affordable! We're very a happy with our decision.

    The most important thing in a diamond is an excellent cut. Look for clarity second and color third. DO NOT PAY FOR A DIFFERENCE IF YOU CAN NOT SEE THE DIFFERENCE!

    • @LabGrownDiamondInfo
      @LabGrownDiamondInfo  3 місяці тому +1

      I'm sorry I don't agree. Cut is very important, but if you don't have a trained eye, you might not know it's not a great cut or a bad one.
      You should focus on what you can see. Like color must be white. And clarity, you don't want to see black junk in the stone.

      I expect the ring would be a total price of around $2,000 for everything. But it depends on the gold weight, ring size, and if it's 14kt gold or you want something else. That could change things up or down $200 to $300

    Lab grown 1.73 ct, D, VVS2 round, solitaire in platinum for $4,240 w/ tax. How’s the price ?

    • @LabGrownDiamondInfo
      @LabGrownDiamondInfo  4 місяці тому +1

      The 1.73 should cost you around $1,600, then the setting. Platinum is about 1/2 of gold, but it's more pure in than 14k or even 18k, and it's heavier. So maybe $1,600 for the setting. That comes to $3,200 and add $300 for labor. So, $3,500 should be the price.

    Insight Greatly Appreciated! One question, does a certification with “Hearts & Arrows” vs a comparable “Ideal/Excellent Cut” without a hearts and arrows notification on the certificate make any difference to light/sparkle performance of the diamond?

    • @LabGrownDiamondInfo
      @LabGrownDiamondInfo  5 місяців тому +1

      Typically, ideal cuts do have Heart's and Arrows. It's just not always notated because it doesn't want you to be confused with the company that uses the hearts, etc. in their name brand.
      If it's stated on the certificate, that's fine, but don't buy a name brand Hearts and Arrows because you will pay dearly for that name.
      Hope that makes sense.

    • @LabGrownDiamondInfo
      @LabGrownDiamondInfo  5 місяців тому

      A 1ct Lab diamond with an excellent cut color and clarity should cost around $600 to $800 for the diamond itself. You have to decide what shape you like the best. 85% of people go with Round because they tend to sparkle the best. But that's up to you. Next, you need a setting. Make sure the head holding the stone is white gold r strength. The ring itself can be any color gold you like. I hope this was helpful. If you need anything else, just ask. I'm happy to help.

    I will be, in the future, going for a 3 ct. H&A cut HPHT solitaire with side stones or 2.5 ct with a halo. The longer I wait, the more prices come down. In a well cut stone you should be able to go down in color and not notice it. Is that accurate? Also I am curious if there's a noticeable difference between an H&A cut and an Ideal cut?

    • @LabGrownDiamondInfo
      @LabGrownDiamondInfo  7 місяців тому +1

      Absolutely! A well-cut diamond will indeed maximize its brilliance and sparkle, but you may still notice differences in color. As for the distinction between a Hearts & Arrows (H&A) cut and an Ideal cut, they both aim for exceptional brilliance and light performance, but an H&A cut typically displays a specific pattern of arrows and hearts under magnification, while an Ideal cut focuses on overall proportions for optimal light return. Both cuts can result in stunning diamonds, but they have slight differences in their visual characteristics.

      There is a big difference in price between 2ct and 3ct. A 2ct should be around $1,700, and a 3ct should be under $2,800 if you can find one the shape you like. If you can find one contact, My manager Laura at Quinns Goldsmith, she can search for you.

    • @LabGrownDiamondInfo
      @LabGrownDiamondInfo  2 місяці тому +1

      It depends on the color also. I recommend the whiter the better. Because a diamond reflects all the colors in the world, so if it's whiter, you get a crisper reflection. D E or F color are all considered colorless. The VS1 and VS2 are really flawless to the naked eye, so you could easily get a VS2 and up the color. This way, you get a better color for the same price . Or stick with the VS1. it's up to you. Depending on the shape, you should be able to get an extremely beautiful 3ct stone for around $2,500.
      We have a diamond buying guide that can get you the exact price you should pay. If you can't find it for that price, we are happy to supply it for you. (We also give you 20% off the setting of your choice and no extra charges for labor.) This way, you can feel confident going in any store or online and know exactly what you will pay.
      Im sharing our diamond buying guide here. I hope this helps.
      Good luck on your search.

    Lab diamonds are a bit like digital watches. The very first digital watches cost ridiculous amounts of money. Wait a while longer and you'll be able to get lab diamonds for $20. Which makes them great value because you can invest all the money you didn't spend on a natural diamond instead and collect the interest 😄

      lab diamonds to a mined diamond are pretty similar, both refract the same light and both have the same hardness level. They will both last forever. A shitcoin is a shot in the sky to see if your $25,000 can become a million. If it doesn’t pump you lose most of your $25,000. A lab diamond ring will shine and last forever and if you look in the right place for a 4ct diamond ring it’ll run you around 4k depending on the specs of course.

      Ah ok so how much will u buy a lab grown diamond from all these good people here? That's where your lab grown fails, it has no value because it's not a natural resource so it's not a diamond period. Just tell people u pay 500$ and you're selling it for 3-4 times the price and the margins are very much in your favor. You're just ripping people off selling them an idea and that's all it is. Without natural diamonds your lab growns would be worthless and soon enough people will realize the scam but I hope u make some money in the meanwhile with your little scam, Goodluck!
