My family has been drinking milk from their own cows for over five or six generations that I know of and they all lived into their 90s with no medical assistance. I just found a DRE about 20 minutes from me that has about 70 or 80 cows that are all grass fed with no pesticides no hormones and no pasteurization needed. These are all happy healthy cows run by a small family.
I’ve just finished the Raw Milk Cure (4 weeks, 6-8 pints a day) and it is truly amazing! I still drink 4 pints a day most days. People need to try it before they knock it.
Do you have more info on this? Is it a raw milk fast for 4 weeks, and no other food? I have SIBO, I think this can benefit me, what kind of raw milk did you use? Thanks
@@krayziejerry I only drink raw grassfed organic A2 Guernsey milk but non organic can be used if the farmer is very contentious esp in keeping medications, fertiliser and pesticide use as low as possible. I still drink about 4 pints a day, along with my normal meals.
What a fantastic presentation - to speak to the history of pasteurization, the components in milk and how drinking raw milk that is kept clean, cool and covered can be beneficial to us. Thank you Kate for all of your research, your kind way of educating all of us and presenting all side of the issue. I know this was a few years ago but I just want to thank you!

Ask any dentist if he can tell if a patient has been raised on raw milk..it’s almost impossible to pull a tooth because the roots are so long & strong…
my teeth have huge roots . Dentist said pulling them would not be fun for either of us ! Never had a drop of raw milk when i was a child.. About to have my first batch of it though...at sixty 😊
I'm very very interested in this subject as I make my own probiotic kefir. I did use raw milk on one occasion. The mixture formed a rim of cream which sealed the plate to the dish it was on!! Fabulous
I'd just like to say I've just started drinking Raw Milk I love the taste and I believe it is possibly the most nutrishious food there is. But I still have intolerances to it if I drink too much. Should I ease my way on to it Because I really want it in my diet any thoughts? thanks.
I have heard it is best to ease into it. Maybe start with half cup a day and work your way up from there. I would add more each week if you are doing fine until you get to your desired amount.
I find using magnesium oil (works better then a magnesium drink for me) balances out any excessive calcium or ? in my raw milk which I drink first thing in the a.m. last thing before bed
Proper quality raw milk is the healthier choice by far, per results with ones health / per ones body integrity, compared to the more insidious congestive effects of pasteurized and especially when also homogenized although some beneficial nourishment still occurs.
Great presentation. I was told to start drinking raw milk in small doses so as not to upset my stomach. I was also told if I ever decide to stop drinking it to ween off by gradually reducing quantities consumed. What say you?
We have been drinking raw milk for years and years and have had our own cow to milk for the last 2 years. We went straight from processed milk to raw and I could never go back. I realised how yuck processed milk was making me feel. I don't know why anyone would say you have to wean yourself onto or off it. It's packed full of beneficial probiotics so it's great for your gut. We were without it whilst waiting for our cow to have her second calf but stopping and starting to drink it once more has had no negative effects for us.
@@jg5755 I have no experience so I'll take your word on it, but I saw a video done by a woman who uses it & that's where I got this info. Looking forward to trying it! Thanks. 👍🐮
Big question is where can you get accurate information? media sources are so jaded you cannot tell who is reporting propaganda and whole is being accurate.
Personally I've been drinking raw milk for years and now have my own cows to milk (because it was getting too difficult to find it to buy in my country, plus I love our cows). I could never go back to processed milk. I'm sure raw milk from sheep or goats is just as beneficial. They just don't produce as much so you'd need multiple animals if you want butter and cheese as well, although I know it's difficult to get cream from goats milk.
You can take off the cream before freezing because it will separate when frozen and turn into lumps (although if you don't mind cream clumps you don't have to). We haven't found any negative effects when freezing it.
I am thinking of eventually switching to raw milk but I wasn’t completely sure but in a good way. Like if my body just wasn’t use to the new make up of the milk with new bacteria and stuff. I have some in my family that is lactose intolerant (I’m not luckily) but i don’t they no it is really that as some can but not in milk form and in small amounts and was wondering if it was the method of being pasteurized or an additive or something. It’s always amazing as to what new found understanding can do.
Pasturization destroys lactase that is used by lactose to break down the sugars so the body can digest it. I couldn’t drink store milk but can raw milk. Worth a try because it is different!
Proper quality raw milk is the healthier choice by far, per results with ones health / per ones body integrity, compared to the more insidious congestive effects of pasteurized and especially when also homogenized although some beneficial nourishment still occurs.
We do this, and it basically it just stops the enzymes and probiotics, plus pathogens if they are in there. If you can obtain milk from the A2 cows, and skim the cream off the top, it makes great butter. We just put the cream in the food processor and when it clumps up and separates, strain it out with cheese cloth in cold water. ps. the milk fat helps the turmeric absorb better in the system too. (just a fellow subbie here, not the list owner)
wilderness sparrow Thank you so much for the information. It was very helpful. Good point about the milk fat helping the turmeric be absorbed better better. I add a teaspoon of coconut oil to the golden milk.
