I just hope the main character moves on from being the constantly baffled audience surrogate. I can see how weird everything is, if the characters keep quipping about it instead of adjusting, then it'll be very one-note.
No bad for a independent digital circus pilot and first time see Adam actually liked the the first digital episode. People go nuts for this show even these dudes like the Pomni clown girl is beyond too weird because she kept as an deviant art fan service style which I don’t go too far (prevs) and she’s the main character who stuck in the digital world which they’re planning the next few episodes so who knows if making her character a driven or understanding? Overall, good pilot episode and first time seeing Adam enjoy and invested this concept of the digital animated pilot.
I think the issue with the characters not feeling very developed from the pilot is because the setting is such a small, contained (like, literally contained) world that they kinda have to show all of the characters in the pilot, but obviously don't have enough time to develop them all.

Ragatha has no similaritys to any other character however her hair looks like licorice!
Yes her plush has this tagline!
Since this is so positive, this vid won't get that many views, thus people still think Adam is a hater
Would love to see his thoughts on other pilots like Lackadaisy. Animation on YT recently has boomed and Lackadaisy is another good example of that.
He said at some point in the video that he "didn't get much" from it and prefers TADC, which kinda shocked me! I personally loved Lackadaisy!
29:46 Love this camera angle. Feels like I'm watching a let's play.

Fun fact to this bit of trivia: iirc The VA for Zooble is Michael Kovach's current Partner/Significant Other. Ashley Nicholes
Still crazy to see Gooseworx (the creator) go from making the Hazbin hotel pilot's soundtrack, to making their own show. AND the music.
5:11 no wonder many people seen this Digital Circus video and I never seen it for so long. I heard about it and they’ve been talking about it a lot.
huge props for actually asking first
I personally love this pilot for it's simple cartoon concept and it's quality animation, music, and in my opinion, humor. Cool to see adum enjoys the work put into this pilot. It doesn't deserve to be roped into content farm hell
I was hoping you had studied the 12 principles of animation before watching this video and I'm going to have to unsubscribe. Your laziness and unwillingness to apply the 12 principles of animation into you're work astounds me
y'ruoe*
I haven't finished this clip yet but i want to mention the animation Adum really liked was animated by the "what's the matter Martha" guy and he has the development of animating the clatter teeth guy on his UA-cam
This cartoon would be amazing with the addition of good storyline/dialogue. It has everything else.
It's a shame to hear that Adum didn't really get much mileage out of Lackadaisy. I really liked the style and setting choice of it all. I can't seem to find the vod where he watched Lackadaisy, but if someone finds it could they let me know? Thanks in advance.
I just hope the main character moves on from being the constantly baffled audience surrogate. I can see how weird everything is, if the characters keep quipping about it instead of adjusting, then it'll be very one-note.
Shes still pretty sensitive but yeah most weird things happwnd in episode 1 so in episode 2 she develops!
The first time I watched this I misheard Kinger's name as Klinger, and now I can't stop hearing him in Jamie Farr's voice.
Episode 2 just dropped yesterday. Hopefully Adum will watch the next episode!
46:07 really sums it up
They crushed it.
I guess you could say Caine’s animation is a *feast for the eyes*!
Gooseworx is chill like that
I think the issue with the characters not feeling very developed from the pilot is because the setting is such a small, contained (like, literally contained) world that they kinda have to show all of the characters in the pilot, but obviously don't have enough time to develop them all.
22:48 - Perfect Timing.
10:59 Looks like I'm not the only one who gets a headache from Caine. I don't hate him but he's a bit much. I'm not the biggest fan but I love indie animation popping off on UA-cam. I hope more series get started.
oh my god that tooth guy with the eyes in the mouth guy is sooooo distressing to watch but I love it!
Caine
Seen rule34 of this character but nothing else
That content farm...... thing at the end of the video gave me cancer. Thanks Olivia 😂
That saw game get me out of here lives rent free in my head
I think the person voicing the sun is the sailor moon from SMA I think they were also Bulma in dbza
I can understand the comparison to Whacked. The announcer does seem to have the same voice.
(Watching the pilot.)
"That was neat."
(Watching the response video address the weird fans.)
"I fully endorse TADC, and have also become a weird fan."
I can't get over the voice acting, it's all too hammy. They have the intonations of middle school theater kids who watch a little too much anime.
I personally like it. Especially Cain, who literally speaks as though he’s announcing something for a theater.
This kinda feels like Six Characters in Search of an Author for zoomers, and I like that
Aside from the good animation and the unique aesthetic I'm not really sure why this is so popular?
Scratches the same itch that mascot horror does. Childish-looking things twisted into something scary and more mature is a home run in the tween demographics who want something more edgy than standard fare.
Bright colors and funny voices, as well as still technically being in the trend of “cute thing but it’s scary”
they all want to have s*x with the jester girl. easy as that
“This thing is good and great, why do people like it?”
@@henrynelson9301scary is not the right word to describe adc yes its dark but its specifically a dark comedy even kaufmo (the eyw monster) is animated very hillariously
I can’t believe anyone remembers “WHACKED!” Let alone Addum.
Kinda reminds me of early Tim Burton animation
This pilot is pretty good, but I didn't study the 12 principles of animation so maybe it's actually terrible
It's to over-animatef
Accidentally, Pomni happens to sound exactly like Russian word for "remember" so Russian fanbase had their own fan theories about it. :D
"Also I'm fucking Autistic" took me out. Thanks man. I felt genuinely seen. 😅
This reminds me of Okage the Shadow King
Wait till he learns about gummygoo
