  • In this video, we take a look at how to service your snow foam lance. If you notice that your snow foam product isn't coming out as well as it should, there is a chance that the lance needs servicing. This is a simple 5 minute job, and requires some basic tools (couple of spanners, small flat screwdriver and a set of pliers).

Great video to revert back to Mat as I forgot how to split the end to get the gauze out👍🏻..... I have found using Acetone (co) much better at cleaning all the bits for the Lance/Cannon and it even brings the brass back up also but make sure you keep the plastics & rubber O-rings away from it.

Currently doing mine for the 4th time since buying it from Autobrite 15 years ago.
This time I bought a new Stainless Steel mesh aerator as it was time to get rid of the old one. Only £3 plus postage.
Can't find my PTFE tape so out to Toolstation tomorrow while the parts soak in a citric acid solution overnight.
Might get the Brasso out if I'm feeling bored.
Still trying to find a source for a pickup tube as mine has gone solid and since I changed the bottle is now a tad short.

I did this last year but soaked the gauze in kettle descaler. Works a treat now but I do have some spare new gauzes which are really cheap on eBay should it clog again. I always rinse it through after use now so I doubt I’ll have any problems for a while.

You should always show how you put everything back together which is the hard bit. Example that rubber pipe you pulled off with force. I can’t see you getting that back on. Maybe that’s why an old rusty foam cannon was used.
