This bassline elevates the whole battery, not just with their exposed moments but also their support of the upper battery in general. Whenever there's something cool going on in the upper battery, the basses are always matching it or complementing it in some way. Not to mention their execution is amazing. Definitely something that started to stand out to me when I saw them in person in this lot.
When I saw the “push pull” moment for the first time at family day I turned around and punched their snare tech in the arm (he marched SCV 09). He said, “I knew you’d catch that!” That’s all, that’s the story. These guys and gals are good. See y’all in Indy.

Out of everybody I saw at nightbeat, this battery had the absolute most beautiful low end balance. Their approach to rolls just sounds heavenly.
