Great sale and your prices are spot on. My motto is price to sale and get it out of the house. Make up and toothpaste takes up space in my stock pile so 2 for $1 on make up & $1 toothpaste. Community yard sale in a few weeks and I can't wait. You made a lot of $$$

Wow that's amazing. I had a little one Friday and made $89.50. I don't have a lot but people love my prices. Makeup I do a dollar each and toothbrushes and toothpaste the same. I love helping other people save and it's things we won't use so why not help out others. Now I'll get to stock up until next summer. I don't sell my laundry stuff I put those in a household bundle and sell it on market place. It's always nice to sell everything or close to everything so you don't have to carry it back in to put away. Thank you for sharing 👍💖
I just had a yard sale last weekend and priced most everything between $2-$3. I literally had so much toothpaste I was just giving it away with each purchase lol I made over $300 but this was a much smaller sale since I just had a big sale a few months ago. SIDE NOTE: For those who post their sales thru fb marketplace...if someone has a rude comment, just let it go. I had 2 people saying I should be donating everything but about 30 people defending me lol don't sweat the small stuff, right? 😊
They can coupon and donate themselves. I don’t buy toothpaste anymore, don’t use or need that plus they expire
Exactly! Each person can choose what they personally want to do with their stockpile. Donating is great but having a sale is perfectly fine too!
@@CouponingWithKayla the thing is..I donate regularly lol people just assume we're out here hoarding everything 😂 oh and I use the money from sales to fund Christmas and birthdays and some times pay bills.

Another suggestion is to have clear shoe boxes or cardboard boxes for customers to walk around and put their items in. I have a couple of customers who love me offering this for them.

Nice I had a small yard sale 2 weeks ago made over $600 people loved oral care and shampoo and sold all of the deodorant and febreze/glade. I wish I cloud do this week but my kid was sick still have some stuff but hey I loved it
When I sell my stuff I always keep in mind the “taxes” I pay! Even if it’s free, in some states you still have to pay taxes! And taxes are crazy high in California where I live. Also the time and energy, gas prices, and also the price you pay for ur inserts. In the end, it might be a loss if you sell for so cheap. Btw!!! Good job Kayla! What a successful sale!

Wow! I had a sale about two weeks ago. I made $70. Lol. My prices were pretty close to yours. I wasn’t too impressed. I sold all my paper products, floor cleaner, a little soap. That’s about it. And Halloween decor. Lol

I'm in Las Vegas...did a sale last Saturday and only made like $270. I'm gonna try one more Saturday since we brought it all down. It's hard to get traffic sometimes. I price very similar to you. We are currently using the money made for our Disneyland trip.
Awesome sale. I always put the money in savings until needed. FANTASTIC SALE. I want to have a sale but I have to rent u-haul and take it to a location where the traffic is good (on a Main Street) where I have had several sale and have always done great. I get a truck so I can pack it the day before, drive it to the location and unpack.

I had a big sale in August with my sister. We did OK but she’s lives in a neighborhood with million dollar homes so we didn’t consider our audience very well. I used my money for my trip to Florida this month and now anything I have left over or that I coupon between now and November will be donated to my sons school for the compassion drive and then I quit couponing over the winter as it gets to be too much with the snow.

Ive never had a stockpile sale but i want/need to--I make bundles and sell them to friends and family--I have one customer that buys $80 every month....I usually try to put the money i make back for savings and Christmas....if i need it for a bill i may use it there as well....I have so much oral care--and feminine care...
What do you do with the stuff you have leftover? Donate it ? Save it for next year? I’ve had 2 this year and still have quit a bit of personal care left. I made about $300.

I was so surprised at my stockpile sale that I sold out of All detergent (at $2 each) before selling any Persil (at $3 each). I guess it’s not as well known I like it better than All!

That’s amazing!! How do you get so many customers? I did everything the same earlier in the summer. But the FB marketplace listing didn’t seem to translate. My first sale I made $250. But my second I made $50 and it wasn’t worth the setup and time at that point. So I haven’t had one since then.
Oh no! When you put yours on marketplace does it pop up options to post to other local pages like yard sale pages, etc. mine gave the option to click 3 or 4 other ones so I feel like that helped. Most people said that’s where they saw the post and I just posted the night before.
I think I might have to be a little more expensive only because I still learning and I literally have to drive 20-30 miles to then nearest store.
Oh definitely! And a lot of people are thankful to get a good discount on the items so it is still saving them.
How far in advance do you post on fb marketplace? Trying to figure out if it’s too late to do one this weekend.
I post on Friday evening (around 6 or 7) and do the sale on Saturday morning 😉

Hi Stacey! I actually don’t have a price list typed out or anything I just kind of base it on what I think.. sometimes you could do it based off of Walmart prices for example if you’re wanting to do 50% off..
