tbh im muslim and henna is a part of my culture but ive never been offended by perrie wearing it. It's clear that she's appreciating it, she hasn't done anything wrong or said anything harmful towards it so I'd rather call it cultural APPRECIATION rather than "appropriating" ... i guess the same goes for the dreads (i don't think leigh anne would stay mute and didn't talk to her if she felt offended) but idk i wanted to point the henna thing out because people are making a big deal of it imo

Actually henna is worn by everyone all over India. I don't think it's a cultural appropriation. It's just another beauty stuff for girls

just got to add, little mix were performing on x factor before the one love concert, they cancelled to do one love to support ariana and manchester. They wore what they were going to wear for that as they literally cancelled that day! They looked bomb, rocked the stage and everyone enjoyed it! <3

Some people will honestly complain about anything, the girls are just doing what they enjoy and want, which anyone should be allowed to do.

For the "hope she ain't faking it like Hadid" thing, I was at that concert and I didn't hear it like that and Perrie probably tripped over her words a bit. But Jade probably heard it like that and that's why she started to laugh

it's so childish to accuse her of liking henna! She's not the only one who wears henna! They're so childish

To be honest I'm part Mexican, Native American, and random other nationalities. I don't take offense to any of these things. I just don't understand why people feel so good about themselves when they say others are racist for clothing and hairstyles. Perrie has always loved to experience other cultures, she has no intention to be rude. People need to realize they are going crazy over what? A way she had her hair done? A clothing item? So what? Kids wear those as costumes, are children racist for dressing up as their favorite Disney characters? That is just my opinion you're entitled to your own, but seriously.

I'm Muslim and I find it completely okay and great for perrie to wear henna. Henna is beautiful and I don't blame her for wanting to get it. I don't feel offended at all by her wearing it. Like is there something that people don't get offended by these days.

Am I the only one who feels complimented when celebrities appropriate culture. It's like they find it interesting and cool and to me it's not racist instead the complete opposite cos it's like they not only accept it but are inspired by it

I don't really understand why cultural appropriation is even a thing... like why do you get offended if someone else likes a certain part of your culture and imitates it? I would be flattered. Unless someone is actually using my culture in an offensive way I don't see why there is a problem if they want to use something from my culture. All the people that get offended are petty af.

They seem to take racism to a whole new level, this is crazy, little mix is no way racist..... there is so much hate and racism out there, but little mix stands for love, peace, strength and equality.

I love the ridiculousness of the idea that Perrie commits cultural appropiation. CUltural appropation as a concept to me doesn't make sence, every culture since ancestral times has adopted some things from one another, and now in the globalized world we can enjoy a lot of things from different cultures arround the world.

I just wanna say something about the Native American headdress pictures. I will say that it is disrespectful in my culture to wear a headdress you have not earned. In order to be able to receive one or even wear one, you have to do something in order to gain that respect and the right to own or wear it. For years on end, my culture has been made out to be Halloween costumes and events. And over the years I've come to realize that people are just ignorant and they don't understand the value of some people's culture so it doesn't bother me anymore if I see someone else wearing a piece of a regalia because if it ain't real then it don't matter.

I still don't understand how dreadlocks are a cultural thing. Anyone with hair can NATURALLY get dreadlocks. Like ??????

Listen, I'm an Indian, and other people applying henna or bindis isn't at all disrespectful as long as they are used correctly and with respect
