絶対に再び光を浴びる時が来ると思う
hideは当時間違いなく最先端を行ってたから時代が追いつけない存在だった^_^
これ、レコード会社とのゴタゴタがなければ96年にはリリースされるはずだったんだよね
それを踏まえてhideは本当に最先端だった
当時まだ子供で英語苦手過ぎたけど、大人になってかっこ良さがわかる。今になってとか遅過ぎるけど現在爆ハマり中。ずっと聴けるw
カッコいいとか天才なんてレベルじゃ収まるレベルじゃない。
日本のロック界においてこれからもhideよりセンスのあるアーティストは出て来ないだろう。今でも曲を作っていたらどんなに凄い曲を皆んな届けていたのだろうか。
想像しただけで鳥肌が立つ。
悔しくてたまらないよhideちゃん。
hideのいたzilchのライブはきっとやばかっただろうな〜

아무리 생각해도 이건, 영국이나 미국과 대등하게 겨룰 수 있었던 유일한 아시아의 록 뮤직 앨범이다.

むしろ斬新ささえ感じる音を作り上げてたhideさん
今のV系では、この人のセンスには到底及ばない。
どんなテクニカルな事をしていても悪いけど大学のサークルのお遊びレベル！
今のV系は、周りを気にし過ぎてるし格好から曲まで全てにおいて無駄が多過ぎる。
この曲はテクニカルな事で見栄を張る事を一切してない。それでもコレだけ味がありカッコいい曲になる。
Xに提供したスカーズなんてとても96年の曲とは思えない。あの曲だってワウを使ってソロ弾いてる位でテクニカルな事をほぼしてない。
この人は本気で音楽で生きて行く覚悟と使命のあった人。
私はど素人ですがサーベルタイガー時代からhideって人はただものではないと思っていましたがやはりつわものでした。変な意味ではなく退屈していた私の頭のなかに今までない強烈な刺激を与えてくれたのです。つまらない音楽の世界を変えてくれました。それ以後私はhideのパフォーマンス、ギター、楽曲、歌声、ファッションetcに魅了されました。それは今もこれからも変わることはありません。そして、、hideの死さえ、、hideらしい、、締めくくりのように思えるのです。
本当にその通りですよね。あの時代にこれだけのものを作ったのですからね。hideの曲は古くならないどころか、いつ聴いても通用するカッコ良さがあります。
hideには本当に先見の明があったと思います。
勿論hideのセンスは相当なもんだよ。だからと言って「今のV系は～」なんて言ってすぐ比較して貶すのは良くないよ?

Exceptionally smart in hiding the intended "protagonist" of the lyrics, yet equally not subtle at all.

When hide-sama uses a neon bright pointers, instead of any form of his masterclass of allusions, that should be your first clue that things are not what they seem.
David Bowie himself, although not specifically named, is basically used as a multi-purpose allegory for something much more personal.
This song is about David Bowie and it's quite aggressive toward him! I guess early fans, like hide most likely was, were disappointed when Bowie became a mainstream pop star in the 80s.
Weird that a few years before this album's release, Bowie also released 1. Outside in a similar musical style! And a year before 3,2,1 he released Earthling that wasn't quite well received and that was much poppier, maybe hide didn't like Bowie's zigzag between artsy stuff and (attempted) mainstream appeal

Definitely about Bowie, almost all lyrics are reference to his songs, looks quite aggressive toward him as well! I guess early fans, like hide most likely was, were disappointed when Bowie became a mainstream pop star in the 80s.
The lyrics were written by Ray Mcveigh, who apparently had something to say to Bowie about Mick Ronson.
I would like to know more about it; but I feel it’s only referencing Bowie’s Starman to tell a more personal story.

VV V この曲がリリースされた頃は普通にゴールデンタイムの番組で洋楽チャートもやってたし、各レコード会社が洋楽コンピ出してましたよ。私はソニーが出してたMAXシリーズでクーラシェイカーやマニックスにオアシス、プレジデンツを知ることができました。むしろ洋楽花盛りな印象。
hideの才能が非凡なのは間違い無いですけどね！音楽、ファッション、アートに遊び心を加えて高い次元のメディアミックスをやってのけた。
