- The NX300 F Sport is a mixture of luxury & sport in an SUV from Lexus. Under the hood is a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 that produces 235HP mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and routing the power to the ground through an AWD system. The exterior of the NX300 has the bold front end styling from, the brand, and features unique F Sport touches. I just got a used lexus. I had a IS350 for over 13 years, and never had one problem with it. It was seriously the best car. I love my NX, I’m actually obsessed with it. I like that it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, it’s just practical.

Owner of a 2016 Lexus NX. If you go with the Premium or Luxury or Executive Pacakge you'll find one power outlet in the backseat. Overall this is a solid SUV, has aged well.

I have a 2019 nx 300 f sport and at first I thought it was slow but I feel like you need to break in the engine because now it feels very peppy and quick love it!!
I have had my 2020 NX Luxury edition a little more than a month . Great experience so far. Use the voice recognition vs. touch pad once you set it up. Works fine. Interior very comfortable .Happy owner !!
It’s just idk why Lexus takes so long to update the cockpit . 45k car and no touch screen ?
I just had a flashback to one of Joe's older Lexus car vids.
Joe mentions the cumbersome track pad and when he uses the sunroof Joe said " you don't have to use the track pad for that"

You are not wrong but I think it’s my favorite out dated interior that I’d still be fine with owning. Sometimes I like the old & familiar when the new updates aren’t better: you feel me?
You also have to remember this car came out in 2014 as a 2015 model. A new generation is on the way set to debut next year.

Oddly, I came very close to buying this car 2 years ago, stopped in the middle of the sale, ended up buying an XC40. Utterly love my decision! It's a much better car I think for $5-10k less!

I don't get why the hate on this SUV. I got a blue 300h and love it, my first Lexus and I don't think I can buy another make after this one. I also own a Mustang Cobra and yes it's fast, fun and makes a lot of noise but when I want to drive up the coast I can't wait to get in the Lexus. You appreciate this SUV by driving it.

While turbos have gotten more reliable, and lexus have obviously done their homework when it came to putting a turbo on this vehicle - i do wish there was a NA option.

The biggest difference of the base NX and the NX f sport is the front fascia. The base NX looks like it had its nose pinched, the NX f Sport has the more desirable look imo.

When I had the Lexus I got NXs as loaners the majority of the time I took my car in for service. I'll say this - while the NX is not as quiet as some other Lexus cars such as the RX or ES, it is definitely a bit more planted/sporty-feeling as you stated in this video. Having said that, it does not have a lot of grip, as I found out in the roundabout near the office. Hopefully no one heard my tires chirping! Anyway it's a great car, and great-looking in the orange paintwork here. Sure, the tech is behind the times, but the interior quality, styling, and reliability are what it's all about. I still miss my IS sometimes even if it had some of the same tech issues as this car. Thanks for the video!

A'right guys, I think I would not buy the current generenation (now) because of the redesign next year that will add more value depreciation. However, when the new NX is on sale, this "old" generation will be a good value for the money and that's when I plan to get one (hybrid F sport) .

Stellantis Tom you do realize that those apply to the hybrid. Also the cvt in the nx hybrid isn’t an actual cvt like in compact cars. The E cvt is taken right from the Prius

Love my 2015 NX200T f sport, i know it's not the nx300 but it's close enough. Not too big like the rx350 but not too small either. Mine doesn't have the mark levinson speakers but it does come with a 12 speakers that put out some good punches. Very reliable, quiet and nice to drive for an inline 4 turbo. I'm hoping Lexus will put an digital analog display on the new model along with an option for headup display
If Lexus takes out the track pad and make the screen bigger and make it touch screen, it would be perfect.

I can’t believe this car has a CD Player! Those are almost extinct in modern cars at this point😂. But hey,features are features!
The sound quality of a good old fashioned audio CD is still better than any stream, satellite radio, or mp3. The only thing better is a .flac audio file on an ELS 3D set-up which is found on only a few cars (eg. Acura RDX or TLX Type S).

For $52K, my money would go to a Mazda CX5 Grand Touring Reserve or Signature trim, and save the extra for another fancy toy I can tow with it. It accelerates and handles better too. Better materials inside also.
One of my favorite review channels, but driving behind you would drive me nuts. You rarely use your signals when changing lanes or turning. Perhaps you don’t do that for audio annoyance during the review. Great take on the NX. They ended up keeping this for the 2021 with minor changes, so I’m sure the ‘22 will be captivating.

Great review. I guess I could be called Bias because I have the Lexus GS f sport. And love their products since I got beat up at cadillac with 🍋 lemons This vehicle Is something I sit in while at service and play around with. It’s cute well built. Suvs aren’t my forte but if it was .I wouldn’t mind this An added feature with Lexus IS their service area. I could order what i want to eat if I decide to wait or get a loaner for a day or two and bring the gas tank back empty. No charge. They always say they work for me. Top company

Pretty sure this is the 2021 NX. The 2020 models didn't have this color option or the seat memory. We just bought a 2020 NX and I shopped and shopped. This color wasn't one for 2020. We are really liking ours. Probably get the 2022 when it gets redesinged.

Lexus is targeting ladies with this brand.. But unfortunately they lost both genders.. The sales dropped dramatically for NX and UX as well RX is selling quite well interms of midsized SUVs

I love lexus very much but I wish lexus would put more brushed metal buttons in the interior of their vehicle's instead of the black plastic buttons , that would look better, that's basically the only thing I don't like about lexus.

The NX300 is quite nice, but not 45k nice is my issue with it. The platform is dated, and really needs a refresh. The 2.0T should have some more power as it uses premium fuel, and the transmission should be an 8 spd at this price, which the RAV4 already has. If the RAV4 offered a turbo, the NX300 would really not make any sense, so Toyota leaves it naturally aspirated just to move buyers up who also don't want the hybrid route.

I pre-ordered the the new 2022 NX 350 AWD with 2.4L turbo petrol, 275bhp and 8 speed automatic. Did I do the right thing by choosing that over the hybrid?
I was also looking a hybrid initially, but somehow got a F sport petrol, 9L/100km which is not too bad

Joe, how does my 2019 Fiesta ST (22K MSRP), have more connectivity in the rear than this $52k SUV? I mean I know it's a Lexus and it'll be a great.... reliable car... but they clearly cut some corners in that fine detail. Also the color is drop dead gorgeous, it really is a nice vehicle overall though.
