Trust me, that's nothing new. I've been playing since D1 beta and it was just as toxic back when "sweats" were beginning. I couldn't go a single day playing trials, or any of the 3v3 modes, without getting multiple "hatemail" messages lol.
This is the exact reason I hesitate to play trials. Been playing since D1 Beta, but I'm the only one of my friends who still plays. So I have to go in solo. I usually have to turn text chat off after the first match lol
Main reason I’m happy to have grew up in the fighting game community of old, shoulder to shoulder on cabinet at tourney. That environment humbled a lot more people, akin to a sport. Shake hands, learn from it and move on. The shooter equivalent would be a game like Halo 2, plenty of 1v1’s in person and a game built around it at its core. A game like Destiny’s “top player” environment is just too fragile. No tourneys, a game not built around fair starts in principle, not the best environment to 1v1 and it aids to mindsets as such seen in the video. Way to keep it humble man, wish Destiny PvP had a better scene. Keep up the good work. Also great play, showing and accepting an L as the true final boss to climbing the ladder would have been the best ending. In the most competitive games, there’s always someone better out there, that’s the point of grinding.
Destiny has a lot of potential, I’ll stand by this I think the PvP community is why there will never be in game tournaments or support for competitive by the devs. Players just whine and moan about the game, while the higher end PvP players are just straight up toxic. There’s no welcoming for players to improve and network, everyone either just ego’s you, or people end up plugging in a device to try and compete. Or they straight up cheat. im watching this after seeing the vids on GJake, i love how youre showing the real versions of these top players. and doing so in the nicest way possible. its sad when these "Gods" at the game get humbled by someone in their same level of skill and blame losing on everything but the fact they met someone on their level. should be complementing not complaining.

definitely more enjoyable to watch this than a forced 1v1...talking about too slow but imo if you ask for a 1v1 and they make it fast for content its kinda boring. Much more enjoyable to watch the way you guys approach each gunfight carefully rather than gamble on a shitty push

I'm glad the algorithm has led me to your channel! I like your attitude, your honesty and your technical knowledge of the game. I've followed the Primal folks for a while, and I've always found them to be sore losers. They're also happy to abuse the meta themselves, but then complain when others use the meta against them. ZK always blames everything else for his losses, and it's a shame to hear it happened on this occasion when he got outplayed by you on this occasion. It was a great match, and really interesting to watch two very skilled players battle it out 👍🏻
ZK aint a bad player without a doubt. They were close games too. Pretty even on skill when it comes to 1-1s. Its just he cant just say "he just did better". The excuses needa come out. This is all streamers tho they all think theyre the only good players

Actually I used to hate on them not uploading losses but after one time when their communities were arguing, they explained that they All upload their Wins for content. And then I understood cuz I do personally hate vids where the guy making the vids loses, but once in a while is fine...

I don’t even play Destiny 2 anymore but as a retired PvPer, I still love your content my man. I’m a top level Diablo 4 PvPer and have gotten a few salty messages(especially since people hate losing to girls) due to my playstyle.
Seemed like a bad ass fight to me. I hate the "so slow" excuse these content creators have about losing to you. I could get it if you guys were posted for minutes at a time hiding away with snipers or something, but this is action and strategy. Good stuff.

I enjoy the primal boys, but i stopped watching them because they have the mentality that only they can be good. they make every excuse when they lose to panduh while shit talking the people they beat. May I reference panduhs last video, where all but zk were positive and proud, zk merely made excuses and complained. idk when the last time i seen zk or frost scrim, theyre content creators.
As around a 1.2-1.4 player on average on a good day with the ability to pop off for 2+ every now and then-- what gets my goat is the way streamers complained about SBMM. I know it wasn't perfect, and maybe it's anecdotal, but I never experienced connection issues much at all with it's initial release. I really enjoyed it because the games went from 50/50 pub stomping to getting curb stomped, to 50/50 actual competitive games for my lobbies, with the occasional mercy from them playing well VS. Them just being many skill tiers above. On average when my team gets stomped, the game has me be the highest KD and apparently the same skill as the opponents two 2.0+ KD, when after the results I can see one or two players that if swapped, the game would have been balanced. The main example was TrueVanguard complaining about MM times, which is fair, but them saying "they want to have fun too" and "it's a video game" lacks integrity to their argument. They are able to play the games and make money off of it and have a great skill ceiling, which is great and I have no problem with that. But there's give and take. Look at LeBron, he gives up the ability to go to public pickup games on the weekend against average joes and curb stomping them because he's a professional player and playing in the NBA making money off of that. I've also never heard a pro athlete complaining that whenever they play, they have to constantly sweat VS. the other team. They also don't have UA-cam channels where they go to public pickup games and just thrash opponents on the daily. So it really annoyed me when instead of offering up solutions and REALLY pushing Bungie to have better lobby balancing to replace SBMM, it just went back to square one and the status quo is restored so now they don't care. I actually enjoy matching up against streamers now and then because it's cool to see them in action, in person, but what they fail to realize because it doesn't effect them is that them "not having to sweat" just punishes the experience and the ability to improve more quickly for average players when the % of truly equal matches to gauge skill and improvement are few and far between at times, and it shouldn't be like that. And in actuality, most streamers ALWAYS sweat, it's just that the opponents skill levels don't always meet theirs so the stakes aren't as high so they don't feel that adrenaline spike.
It's definitely not slow, just strategic. It sounds like an excuse on his part because he lost, and knowing now that he didn't put it in the video, it's 100 percent an excuse. Something tells me if he wins against a 3.9 KD, he puts it in the video. Keep doing you bud, got a sub from me from this vid and the GJ vid. Stay humble stay blessed.
You both played really well. Fun 1v1 to watch. The enraged comments are a little silly, it’s just a game guys haha It’s his job to make himself look good y’know. This is super common in a game like RuneScape. A content creator will post a video of them doing pvp all day and you remember killing them a few times and you don’t see any deaths in their video. It is what it is. That said I don’t remember him dying to sprint lock or double damage. XD
Had a friend back in the D1 early D2 days. He was one of the first guys out there doing account recovs and carries. There was a time where he had more than one account sitting in the top 10 he used to walk all the “top tier” streamers back then. Made stupid money doing it. Bought a house with it then moved on got married had a kid. Anyway used to be fun watching him and the messages they’d send.

It’s a shame he didn’t include the footage because I think his audience could benefit from seeing how a 1v1 is played at high levels. I think the reason he didn’t post it wasn’t because he was embarrassed by his gameplay (which he shouldn’t be, he played very well), but rather because he got a little salty and probably didn’t want to put that out there. It’s not a good look for him, although I do understand why he felt that way. Totally fair enough imo. I was thinking about your comment about games becoming slow at the highest levels. I know you probably meant FPSes and it’s true, but it made me wonder if it’s true for other kinds of games. It’s definitely not for competitive Tetris which is all about speed. Thought it was interesting to think about how different games have different emphases on the axes of strategy vs tactics vs speed.
He is right tbf, when u get stupidly good the game can become insanely fast if you play with team or incredibly slow when you cant have anyone bail out ur mistakes. This honestly showed the zero class zk has when someone is a challenge for him, or someone who can beat him. I don’t even play Destiny 2 anymore but as a retired PvPer, I still love your content my man. I’m a top level Diablo 4 PvPer and have gotten a few salty messages(especially since people hate losing to girls) due to my playstyle.

I enjoy the primal boys, but i stopped watching them because they have the mentality that only they can be good. they make every excuse when they lose to panduh while shit talking the people they beat. Instead of giving you proper recognition he resorted to 5min rant of excuses. hes not a sweat, hes not gonna be they best, but damn give credit where it is due.

As around a 1.2-1.4 player on average on a good day with the ability to pop off for 2+ every now and then-- what gets my goat is the way streamers complained about SBMM. I know it wasn't perfect, and maybe it's anecdotal, but I never experienced connection issues much at all with it's initial release.
I really enjoyed it because the games went from 50/50 pub stomping to getting curb stomped, to 50/50 actual competitive games for my lobbies, with the occasional mercy from them playing well VS. Them just being many skill tiers above.
On average when my team gets stomped, the game has me be the highest KD and apparently the same skill as the opponents two 2.0+ KD, when after the results I can see one or two players that if swapped, the game would have been balanced.
The main example was TrueVanguard complaining about MM times, which is fair, but them saying "they want to have fun too" and "it's a video game" lacks integrity to their argument.
They are able to play the games and make money off of it and have a great skill ceiling, which is great and I have no problem with that. But there's give and take.
Look at LeBron, he gives up the ability to go to public pickup games on the weekend against average joes and curb stomping them because he's a professional player and playing in the NBA making money off of that.
I've also never heard a pro athlete complaining that whenever they play, they have to constantly sweat VS. the other team.
They also don't have UA-cam channels where they go to public pickup games and just thrash opponents on the daily.
So it really annoyed me when instead of offering up solutions and REALLY pushing Bungie to have better lobby balancing to replace SBMM, it just went back to square one and the status quo is restored so now they don't care.
I actually enjoy matching up against streamers now and then because it's cool to see them in action, in person, but what they fail to realize because it doesn't effect them is that them "not having to sweat" just punishes the experience and the ability to improve more quickly for average players when the % of truly equal matches to gauge skill and improvement are few and far between at times, and it shouldn't be like that.
And in actuality, most streamers ALWAYS sweat, it's just that the opponents skill levels don't always meet theirs so the stakes aren't as high so they don't feel that adrenaline spike.
They cant hang in their own skill level. Thats why they hate sbmm. Because sbmm now makes THEM the noobs. They want to stomp. Not be stomped. Losers.
It's definitely not slow, just strategic. It sounds like an excuse on his part because he lost, and knowing now that he didn't put it in the video, it's 100 percent an excuse. Something tells me if he wins against a 3.9 KD, he puts it in the video. Keep doing you bud, got a sub from me from this vid and the GJ vid. Stay humble stay blessed.

This is super common in a game like RuneScape. A content creator will post a video of them doing pvp all day and you remember killing them a few times and you don’t see any deaths in their video. It is what it is. That said I don’t remember him dying to sprint lock or double damage. XD

Had a friend back in the D1 early D2 days. He was one of the first guys out there doing account recovs and carries. There was a time where he had more than one account sitting in the top 10 he used to walk all the “top tier” streamers back then. Made stupid money doing it. Bought a house with it then moved on got married had a kid. Anyway used to be fun watching him and the messages they’d send.

It’s a shame he didn’t include the footage because I think his audience could benefit from seeing how a 1v1 is played at high levels. I think the reason he didn’t post it wasn’t because he was embarrassed by his gameplay (which he shouldn’t be, he played very well), but rather because he got a little salty and probably didn’t want to put that out there. It’s not a good look for him, although I do understand why he felt that way. Totally fair enough imo.
I was thinking about your comment about games becoming slow at the highest levels. I know you probably meant FPSes and it’s true, but it made me wonder if it’s true for other kinds of games. It’s definitely not for competitive Tetris which is all about speed. Thought it was interesting to think about how different games have different emphases on the axes of strategy vs tactics vs speed.

This honestly showed the zero class zk has when someone is a challenge for him, or someone who can beat him. It’s all funny and games to him when he goes against a 1.0 and can stomp, but as soon as that’s not the case he starts crying and blaming the game. What a dumb excuse that the gameplay is to "slow" of course a good player isn't just running in a straight line up to him so that the round would be over in 5 seconds against a good player its always going to be more tactical and about who is going to use his cover in the smartest best way and who is hitting the crucial shots
You can slide out and engage without running in a straight line. But ZK agrees with that and that's why he says so in the vid by saying "they're just both being careful, So it's Understandable" it's about content
