The 16 in the mini is on my list but I want it in a fun colour. Absolutely love the style and I think Celine are just on point with everything! My favourite quiet luxury bag I have is a grey Celine belt bag. Love how edgy it looks.
Hi Steph! You 💯 inspired me to buy this exact same bag and I’m thrilled with it. I’ve had my bag for approximately four months now and I use it pretty much every day. The inside of my bag still smells amazing! People catch me sniffing it all the time! 😁 FYI, I peeled off the protective stickers immediately upon its arrival. I too was worried about scratches because the shiny gold hardware is just so stunning! The only place I have noticed a few surface scratches is on the underside of the clasp, where the two pieces of brass meet, where you close the bag. That’s unavoidable unfortunately. The front of the closure still looks pristine so far. The one and only con for me is that as as much as I love the look of the clochette and the brass lock (it looks like jewelry on my bag), it bounces around like crazy when I’m walking. I’m a bit hippy so it’s constantly bouncing back and forth. I have debated removing it but every time I take it off, I put it right back on five minutes later because I love the shiny gold contrast on the black bag. Ugh… first world problems I tell ya! 😉 I also purchased the Celine Cabas 16 Tote in the smooth calfskin (tan) knowing full well it’s going to scratch eventually because the leather is in its natural state. Such is life. I’m trying hard to get past the imperfections, knowing full well that nothing in life is perfect (although you, my friend, are pretty darn close)! 😘

Glad it was helpful! I can't say for sure on the A6 but I don't think it'll fit although I'd go into store and try. It would definitely fit in the classique size
🤫 don’t let the word get out. The tan leather easily marks but is getting a lovely aged look and my lizards are so durable they still look brand new after several years and a great price for exotics

The haters can hate all they want or think I'm wearing it because I care what other people think, when I'm actually using it becuase I DON'T care what other people think.
I adore this bag. So beautiful. I’m a Salvatore Ferragamo fan first and always but this is lovely too. Also love that book, The Richest Man in Babylon. If you like that, you must read The Great Taking. Amazing book.
It's normal for leather. It creases. That's what leather does. The point of the structure of this bag is the entire leather is taut it's stretched tight so any creasing is absolutely minimal. Please don't obsess too much or you won't enjoy your bag... or your life!

This is my favorite bag in my collection! I’ve had it for almost two years now and traveled with it to England, France, Italy, Mexico, Argentina, and various places in the US. Even with a few scratches, it’s still beautiful. I have a four month old baby now so I find myself reaching for my madewell transport shoulder bag/crossbody but for non-baby outings it’s truly the perfect bag!

Beautiful bag. My grandmother had a black bag that looked like the 16. She bought it in the 60's and it was leather and stunning. It didn't have a designer name. It was just a very gorgeous and well made bag. The prices for this bag are outrageous as are the prices for designer name bags quiet luxury or not. Insane. The dupes are being made as she speaks.
I love the 16 ❤ I have the mini in the tan and tweed and apparently, if you buy direct you can send them in for maintenance each year! So they may be able to fix the scratch, not sure if this covers hardware but they should be able to advise next time you're in store 🤞🏼

Hiya! Personally I love the satinated calfskin. I have one 2 years ago and traveled with it a lot and no scratches yet. I don’t love it on pebbled leather , it just kills the luxurious vibe. Tho pebbled leather is less prone to scratches .
Hi! So i’ve mostly kept the padlock on and the leather has been fine but it has potential to scratch the leather. The padlock now has lots of dints and scratches
Love this bag. Have a question related to the Chanel 19. Do you feel the strap keeps falling down when you wear it on your shoulders? I bought it few months back and cannot return it now. However, while using it for the first time I noticed that the strap keeps falling down which is so annoying.

Resale value on Chanel 19 is so low that it's not worth selling it. I will definitely check this Celine bag over the weekend. Love the vibe of silent luxury these days.

Owwww that's a hard one! Good question. I would say the LV Lock me is actually even easier to use and the strap is really nice. I would keep me Lockme ever mini over a mini 16, but I would keep my small 16 over them all just because it's so easy to wear and style. Not sure if that helps but please do keep me updated I'd love to know which you decide.

I learned that you can bring your Celine bag back for a clean/refresh if it’s within a year or two.

Oh that’s a hard one. Capucines is if is limited edition / will be hard to find again but the Celine 16 is my most used by far
