Sir, comment: per warscore, battles cost a LOT more manpower and ducats (reinforcements) than sieges.
The Ottomans have great army quality meaning you lost 2-3x more troops than they did from battles even when you won, and they also had much more dev and FL meaning they actually had the reinforcement (with slackening recruitment) and the ducats to sustain the war. You cannot 100% a war like that unless you are very skilled or very prepared.
During the war, you should always have a few infantries standing in the back ready to carpet siege provinces (only those that don't border a fort, since they will become automatically unoccupied when you leave) whenever it's safe to to do. For example, many provinces in Iraq and close to Syria in Anatolia were unoccupied for most of the war. Occupation deprives your enemy of cash, trade, manpower, etc., drives up their war exhaustion and your war score. Obviously to do this successfully you can't wage war on speed 5 ^^
To be better prepared I would have deleted some forts to increase my income, like the ones in Oman, Iraq or Basra and one of the two in Yemen. I would have taken Medina from the Mamluks because the mission tree changes the trade good to Gold. And most importantly, I would have done everything possible (improve relations, gifts, insult rival, etc.) to ally a strong European power like Austria, France, Muscovy, PLC, etc. because forcing the Ottomans to fight on two fronts is huge. You can take safer battles since the Ottomans' troops are split up and siege everything on the Anatolian side while your European ally gets beaten up. It doesn't even matter if your ally peaces out, just make another ally after the war.
I would have peaced out as soon as the Ottomans reached low war enthusiasm, because you had zero manpower & were deep into debt + negative income. Any victory is going to be pyrrhic. In the peace deal you need to think about what will help you stabilize and come out ahead in the long term. The Ottos have a huge income so getting war reps was going to be much more influential than 1-2 more provinces for your vassals. Though in this case you didn't have much of a choice declaring bankruptcy obviously.
Oh and considering you have 500 provinces to conquer, admin + diplo are absolutely the way to go haha. Would cut down your run by decades. ^^

Is there any reason to not go horde for this type of achievement?
@@EGGhosty As Arabia you have perma claims on half the world so you don't need the horde CB but razing is very OP obviously.
No reason not to if you want to finish ASAP but for flavor/replayability it's not very fun to go horde imo. Arabia has interesting reforms that you'll miss out on among other things.
i don't have the cossacks DLC so I can't raze provinces... lol
