Such a beautiful area. As I mentioned last week, seeing rivers cutting through desert terrain is really cool. Love that you are adding in parks that aren't in the National Park Service. There are many City, County and State Parks that have incredible sights to behold. Much love and have an amazing week
Thank you Randy, for sharing your awesome adventure. The desert southwest is so unique and beautiful. I love the large Saguaro cactus... God Bless you , your friends and America's Parks... Robin🙏
Great video! Arizona is such a special place, regardless of where you are, there is so much to do! I haven't spent as much time in Tucson as I have in Phoenix or Flagstaff, so this is another place to put on my "To Visit List!" And that restaurant you went to in Tucson looks incredible! Thank you for always making great videos, with such picturesque scenery!!
Cima Road off I 15. Halloran Pass. If you drive to Kelso Dunes it loops back around to Baker. Baker to Dumont. Then Dumont into Death Valley. Death Valley to Pantimont up and over down to Olancha. Go back way around lake great view of Whitney Portal coming out onto 395.
You had a good visit to Tombstone, no cars. That makes the experience much better . And driving through the wash areas-we did that too. A little scary for us though. Definitely an experience. Thanks for another great video. God bless you!
Good way to start the evening with all that fresh food! Much easier of a crossing than in the last video! You know it’s cold when your body immediately turns red, lol. My parents talked about loving Tombstone, but I haven’t been there yet.
We LOVE the Romero Pools hike! Surely the water was extra chilly when you were there, but it is an extra nice respite during the summer! I’m so glad you had an enjoyable time here in my “backyard”. I just re-watched all of your Bryce videos…we are headed there this coming week. Great adventures ahead 🤗. Thanks so much for all you do and take care always.
😂 Your buddy plunges into the river...he says "it's cold but it's nice." His second dip in he says.."it's just cold." 😂 🥶 You have your own polar bear club in the desert! Beautiful park! Excellent video! Thank you!
I honestly forgot I was watching a hiking video. You had me at the food, especially the fresh made guac! That park looks beautiful. I used to be stationed an hour or so away and never visited, but I did get to Tombstone. As a New Yorker/east coaster, Arizona is a strange landscape to comprehend, but I found it fascinating
I'm glad you made it out to Catalina State Park on this trip as well! That place is truly a gem, and the hike that you did is really awesome! I hope you're able to come back and do some of the other trails in the future because they're pretty cool as well! You were really blessed with lots of water on this trip!! Tombstone is pretty phenomenal , and i'm glad you did that also. That Mexican restaurant in the beginning looked pretty amazing, and I will have to hit that one next time i'm out there! Very nice work, Randy, on the video!
Great words! My wife would take an Arizona trip any day of the week - even in the summer! Mouth still waters when I see that food footage of the fresh salsa and guac! Tastes so good in the desert!
I’ve been everywhere you’re just showed pretty funny. In fact, many many times you pick some of the best places. Good job.😊 of course I live here in Tucson so I’ve been everywhere.
I imagine that you are long gone as the ocotillo weren't yet flowering when you made this video, but if you are still around check out the Hugh Norris trail in the Tucson Mts. and also you guys should make the ascent up Picacho Peak.
I've been in that restaurant! The food is out of this world. Sorry I would not go in that water. Tucson is really a great place with multiple places to visit with lots of activies to enjoy. Great video.
another great video in AZ! beautiful hike and tombstone looks fun but Wow that guy doing the belly flops/ that looks Painful hahaha // good times thanks for taking us with you
Hello America's Parks, never realized there was so much water in the Tucson area. I sure wish I was there with you guys amongst gods beautiful creations. One of these days om going to check out Tombstone. Oh yeah...hmmm, Rainbow Bridge, National Monument 😊!
And now I'm ready for guacamole!! We spent a week exploring this area (before we started filming adventures lol) and it was alot of fun! There's actually a ton to explore in that pocket of Arizona. Nice video!
Another really fun one to watch. Now I have to go out for some Mexican food tonight. Looks like a great area. Are we going to see more tombstone footage? Big nose Kate's!
Wish we ran into you - we're in Tombstone all the time! I did about 300 hours of volunteer time at Tucson Mountain Park. Unfortunately, the place gets trashed no matter how much the cleanup.
That is absolutely Majestic; did you have a cabin or did you sleep out under the stars? My maternal grandmother and extended family lived just east of Sacramento and spoke frequently about Lake Tahoe; I am wondering if you had any trips out in the Tahoe area?
Now I'm from just outside Philly. What are the chances that in October 2022 I ate at the same restaurant and the same woman prepared my salsa! The food was wonderful and the staff so pleasant! I took a double take and actually took a pic of the salsa woman and compared pic to your video. Yep... its her. Next time you're in Tombstone, go when there is a rodeo. I was impressed they begin the rodeo with a prayer!
That is really wild! The food there was fantastic! So cool when you get away from the east coast and see the faith that still stands strong in the heart of our great country!
Woohoo, another Amercia's Parks! Thanks for all of these.
Appreciate the kind words!
So much to do in AZ, it's crazy
Right on! Love it out there!

Appreciate the encouraging words and feedback, Jymn! Hope you and your great family have a blessed week!
Fun Fact: Catalina State Park is the largest State Park in Arizona at 5,493 acres. Hope to one day go and see it for myself! Great video!
Interesting truth... didn't know that! Hope you can get out there. The Tucson area is fantastic!
Thank you Randy, for sharing your awesome adventure. The desert southwest is so unique and beautiful. I love the large Saguaro cactus... God Bless you , your friends and America's Parks... Robin🙏
Hey Robin, hope you had a blessed Lord's Day! Thanks, as always, for the kind words!
Wow that's beautiful out there! Can't wait to visit one day! Thanks for showing us around
Thanks my friend!
I actually like this one.
I will add it to my 78 birthday road trip 14 years from now. White sands too.
very beautiful state park and city
Thanks for watching!
Oh man! That's our favorite restaurant in Tucson. Salsa made fresh at your table. And Catalina is our favorite State Park.
You have good taste, Frank!
Incredible landscape and challenging hike. Well done! Must have been the food the night before. 😋
Thanks so much, Debra!

Glad to hear you've experienced these stops too! God bless you my friend!
I love this part if the country- cacti, blue skies- guacamole! Fun trip! But I’ll pass on the cold water swim.
I think I'd be able to talk you into the swim! :)
Good way to start the evening with all that fresh food! Much easier of a crossing than in the last video! You know it’s cold when your body immediately turns red, lol. My parents talked about loving Tombstone, but I haven’t been there yet.
Tombstone was a blast! Classic Western USA town!
There is something about a Saguaro and Bristlecone. Enchanting plants.

That Tucson area is indeed amazing! Have a great time at Bryce... glad you found the videos helpful!

Love the Custer St Park shirt your friend was wearing.
Good taste, David. Incredible place!

Eric, thanks for the thoughtful words and again, grateful for your excellent channel and help in planning this trip!

Randy, this was a really good one (well, aren't they all??), so thanks for sharing it with us.
Appreciate you kind words, Jim!

Yeah, try to my research! :) Loved Tucson - my wife would move there in a heartbeat! Have a super weekend!
I imagine that you are long gone as the ocotillo weren't yet flowering when you made this video, but if you are still around check out the Hugh Norris trail in the Tucson Mts. and also you guys should make the ascent up Picacho Peak.
Thanks, Steve! Yeah, this trip was several weeks ago, but I made a note of your recommendations if I get back.
I've been in that restaurant! The food is out of this world. Sorry I would not go in that water. Tucson is really a great place with multiple places to visit with lots of activies to enjoy. Great video.
Mouth waters whenever I watch the video of that Mexican restaurant. Glad to hear you've experienced the area!

Al, were getting close to rainbow bridge!!!
@@AmericasParks Hey Randy, yes your close to Rainbow Bridge, National Monument. Looking forward to that.
"can't let the car do it" love it! :)
Yeah, had to leave that classic line in the final edit!
I can’t believe you drove through that water - I thought for sure you were going to get stuck! I’ll also take a bowl of that guacamole too😋
That guac was amazing. Could have also drank the salsa right out of the bowl!
Beautiful area! We actually had dinner at that Mexican restaurant in 2021 on our visit there. The food was amazing!
Totally agree! So many comments on others visiting that restaurant too! :)

Didn't shoot much at Tombstone. Got there late, and like you said, the place shout sown early.
Wish we ran into you - we're in Tombstone all the time!
I did about 300 hours of volunteer time at Tucson Mountain Park. Unfortunately, the place gets trashed no matter how much the cleanup.
Would have been an honor to meet you, Marty! And thank you for your service to our public lands!
That is absolutely Majestic; did you have a cabin or did you sleep out under the stars? My maternal grandmother and extended family lived just east of Sacramento and spoke frequently about Lake Tahoe; I am wondering if you had any trips out in the Tahoe area?
Actually had an Air B&B for this one. Went to Tahoe once and it was crazy crowded.
I am hungry already then I watch the first few minutes of this and now I need to stop and eat!
That food was amazing!
