So hard to watch this. Zach began playing bb as a sophomore in high school at IMG. He was ranked in the 430s. That team has received such a gift and thousands of new fans. Let me know when you eat crow.
Was one of the saddest moments for me when SteveO got traded, The grizzlies could not of drafted a better replacement for Stevo then Edey IMO. He plays the most Stevo but he’s taller and younger. who is better than the grizzlies now good luck
The foul thing is 100% true.... His coach Matt Painter specifically told him to not foul. They needed him on the floor. In the second half his defense went way up. Watched every Purdue game his whole career. He also got in foul trouble his first two years because refs didn't know how to officiate him. His defense will surprise. He's going to be more aggressive with less minutes. He's 7'5" with shoes now.

If we assume BC and Edey play 20 mins per game, that leaves about 25 additional minutes for...GG. Get a vet, and it's all good.
If they both play 20, that leaves 8 center minutes. JJJ, santi, GG, even vince can play small ball 4. We need a backup big, but only for emergency. Its not as dire as your making it out to be

7'5 on some lists, but look at him next to Clingan, he might be bigger than 7'5. I think he is bigger than Boban.

So, I imagine Zach Edey stayed in the league, because he didn't want to go in the 2nd round, and it worked out for him. I think is more of an atypical situation, since he could have went in the 2nd round last year, and Memphis probably did want to draft him when he was considering the 2nd round of last year, but saw the 6 million, he could potentially make, and decided to wait a year. So, I think Edey probably played his cards right. It is a shame would couldn't have him last year, but you gotta respect him for making the best decision for his family.
48:53 It might be because of how slick the NBA balls are compared to the NCAA balls. I imagine the Pick and Roll/finishing is much tougher with an NBA ball.
