We just got back from WDW and I was so glad I made sure my leggings, athletic shorts, and skorts had pockets on the sides. I used them for my phone and even my phone charger. Saved me from constantly swinging my backpack around to grab my phone for pics, genie plus, mobile food orders, etc.
I’ll take full credit for Fanny packs coming back. I was wearing them when it was suuuuper uncool. I regret nothing. 😂 My hubby carries our larger bag.
You have amazing skin! You def don’t need foundation, I thought you were always wearing it because I always notice how flawless you look in your videos. Thank you for all the helpful tips!
Make up tutorials!!! Great video, but I have to admit I was excited when you spoke about your makeup. It looks great- style and color. A short video wouldn't be boring. Do it for your fans 😁
Great video!!! My last 2 trips I just wore thin, long tops/short sundresses with cotton biker shorts to stay comfy every day! My feet have ALWAYS been a problem! They are flat and no matter what I wear they hurt....until I decided to be brave and try Crocs last year! I did bring back up shoes just in case. But the Crocs are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! I do have to wear no show socks with them because I'm picky about my feet feeling sweaty...lol. I also wear my warm clothes on the airplane! Sometimes it can be cold in the morning and night but super hot during the day so I bring a super thin cardigan for myself that I can roll up and stick in our backpack. I found a no wrinke cardigan on Amazon. My son wears a thin windbreaker. And yes! Ponchos!!!
Just booked our first Disney trip for the poly for summer 2023! I’ve been watching all your videos and adding your Amazon items to my wish list. Thanks for doing these videos!!
I'm going to Disney in a month so this video was very helpful for me. I wanted to wear cute outfits (not necessary comfy) or like go to the hotel and change before dinner and my husband had to explain to me that people don't do that, everybody wear comfy clothes. I'm glad you talked about it in your video. Thank you Nina ♥
I always wear an outfit only one day. I can’t wear an outfit more than once even in winter. This video is allowing me to relook at what I packed for vacation
I have three flats, sneakers, water shoes, three pairs of heels. I’m doing Capture the moment though and going to both Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table
my favorite way to see ‘what people are wearing’ is checking the WDW location tag on Instagram! Between the person who posted the photo and the people in the background I feel like I can get a good idea of what the normal clothing is
Hi Nina. Loved your video. I am under 100 days till my trip. The only thing I am worried about is the flight. Never flown before. I just hope I get to the right place.Could You do do a flight video? Was going to asked about the laundry at Disney. You ans. part of it. Do you know how much the laundry is? I am getting excited!! It is getting so close!!! By the way was looking at your set up behind you on the video. Was wandering what did Mickey do to be in the corner?lol!!! It's like when Willie on Little House On the Prairie. When he got sent to the corner for doing something bad. lol!!! Thanks for all your help.
LOL, my Mickey pillow was sent to the corner due to not sitting up right, lol. I have flight, airplane and airport sections in ALL my Travel Day Videos...I usually have the more recent one listed FIRST in the descriptions of my videos. And not sure of the current cost of laundry as prices are always going up. Thanks for watching/commenting!
They say you shouldn’t wash your jeans after every wash. I find that debatable… It really depends on what you’re doing and how often you wear them. Theme parks… Just people sitting on rides, then you sit on them. I’d try at find a Landry mat/hotel might have them.
@@Excalibur_86 it’s about 11pm right now and 83 degrees in Orlando. I’d say bring some light layering pieces for when you come in air conditioning. The drastic temp changes can make some sick, just a thought
The last few times we went to Disney we had a stroller so carrying bags and water bottles was not an issue. We won't have a stroller the next time we go. When we go to other theme parks it is usually just my husband who carries one regular-sized backpack for all of our stuff. I know sometimes he would just put the bag right next to our seat but outside the ride and then when we would get off the ride the bag would be there for him to pick up. Would that ever be the case at Disney World or do you get off the rides at a different location than where you got on a ride?
There is only 1 ride that I know people do that for, otherwise people take their bags on the actual ride. But you can always ask a Cast Member at each ride to see.
There are NO spots for the fireworks as they ask you to fill in all spaces, so arriving early to get a good spot doesn't do anything. We show up about 30 mins before and just walk to a spot trying to avoid blocking any young kids. Parades are different. Thanks for watching/commenting!
I understand being resourceful but rewearing lightly sweaty clothes in Florida is a "unique concept" for a person that has been in Florida over 30 years.
@@MermaidNinaTravels No I understand and sympathize with you but my brain just malfunction thinking about it. My history of atypical dermatitis has traumatized me on anything sweaty. I can’t wear necklaces once I start sweating without cleaning the jewelry.

I’m so obsessed with watching your videos… we only go to Disney about once a year and your videos give me my Disney fix in between trips ❤️

I would also add packing a portable battery charger since we are on our phones 24/7 because of Genie and Genie+!! Thanks, Nina!!
100% YES, I have that listed in my TECH video and my Park Bag video. Thanks for watching/commenting!

We just bought TEVA to try. I also have some Vessi sneakers that are totally waterproof. I mostly rely on AllBirds for park days, though.
Good to know. Let me know how the TEVAs work.
… maxi dresses are easy light and very comfy to wear in Disney

I would check the weather before you go...it can vary. Thanks for watching/commenting!
We are going the first week of December to WDW so what do you recommend for that time of year? Thanks.
That's a hard one as it could be shorts or pants. Better check when closer. Thanks for watching/commenting!

Wdw first timer here. We are going in mid to late august. Do we need to bring pants and hoodies on our trip?
