A few takeaways:
Sanam and Ali share a natural bond. They really look and act like siblings.

فلم " عمر وعیار" کافی شعبوں میں بہت اچھی تھی سوائے " رائٹنگ" کے ۔
مسلہ یہ ہمارے فلم میکرز نے پڑھنا ہی چھوڑ دیا ھے پھر انہیں اچھے رائٹرز کہاں سے ملیں ......؟ فلم کے بہت سارے اچھے رائٹرز موجود ہیں مگر انہیں موقع ہی نہیں دیا جا رہا ھے ۔

For writing training, please go to industry veterans like Nasir Adeeb, Syed Noor, Pervez Kaleem, despite being old school, they know what feels "filmi" on screen.

Basically drama makers need to stop making the womens digest writers written "novel" into a drama. If they were any good, they wouldnt be getting dust on back shelves of every book stores for years and years to begin with! No one wants to see ghannay kalaay balon wala khoobsurat Salar or a Sikander all the time!

@@mdkhalekuzzaman9679 no one knows about these novels before they turned into dramas. In fact the only reason they are turned into one is because it’s cost cutting method. Why pay actual writers to write a drama or show when plethora of content exists in written from getting dust and hardly touched by anyone. This why when these writers are asked to write new content they write sub par stuff that we have already seen because like these three are saying they do it as hobby! And you can only do so much when it’s just ur hobby. Sooner or later u gonna hit the ceiling and write same thing no matter how hard you try to be creative and think different. They have no formal training or degree in writing!
@@mdkhalekuzzaman9679 But Umro Ayyar is excellent! Zindagi Gulzar hai, Humsafar,bin roye,Prizaad,alif,all these are novels, Novels are beautiful literature specially urdu literature,they should make novel adaptions obviously the right way

Screenwriting: the problem with all these workshops and courses is that the 'mentor' himself/herself doesn't have any credentials.
John Truby's workshop is most popular, yet his own life's acheivement is an adaptation of '21 Jump St'
Similarly Blake Snyder, author of the most read screenwriting book, he himself has only written two very unknown films.
Sanam def has the potential to play a Wonder Woman type charachter if she worked out.
Sanam Saeed is truly one of the best actresses in the Pakistani entertainment industry! Her performances are always so captivating and full of depth. It's a shame that directors and producers don't give her the recognition she truly deserves. Her training as a theater actor clearly shows in her work, and she represents Pakistan on her shoulders with grace and excellence. I don't understand why she is not getting offered work that matches her caliber. If you haven't already, check out her amazing work in these projects:

Rabia, great interview! My favourite chat show! Rabia is a natural. Other hosts on other channels seem so rehearsed but Rabia makes the interview like a fun conversation. I loved her question about what books they’re reading! I love these guests! Sanam is so beautiful and eloquent. Ali is our fellow Canadian! Love that he’s at Mirvish!
