    To improve your channel.. put a microphone on the artist and have a really talented drone pilot fly around him..

      Not a drone, but I did do some nice rotating gimbal shots on a different US team member: ua-cam.com/video/LR7EQ2LGU_4/v-deo.html :) But yeah, would love to do some nice flyover drone shots in the future

    what shoe brand
    do most of the competitors wear?

    • @bluehippofilms
      @bluehippofilms  3 роки тому

      Budosaga, Da Ye, and Wu Yue are some of the more popular ones for competition/professional use. You can find them on places like KungFuDirect
      I believe Brian is wearing these: www.kungfudirect.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=70&product_id=1159
      Nike, also made a limited run of Wushu shoes for the 2008 Olympics that were amazing: www.freshnessmag.com/2008/07/09/nike-wushu-shaolinquan

      @@harrypotter2443 possibly, but from the angle the judges saw it, it may not have looked like it was pointed that far out

      Actually, on www.iwuf.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Rules_of_Taolu-English.pdf, I only see Quality of Movement deductions for Pubu in Nanquan, Taiji, and Gunshu events. It's not listed for Changquan. Even then, the only deductions are for legs not being straight/bent enough, or the front foot not being turned inward enough.

      @@bluehippofilms But those are the 2005 rules; in the modified 2019 rules, there are pubu deductions for changquan, jianshu, daoshu, gunshu, and qiangshu events.
      Although, the deduction content is for the same things you specified, plus the back of thigh of the bending leg not touching the calf.
