WoW Classic: World of Warcraft (WoW) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released in 2004 by Blizzard Entertainment.
World of Warcraft takes place within the Warcraft world of Azeroth. Classic servers try to recreate the feeling and gameplay of this long lost version of the game.
In this montage I gathered some of the best and funniest clips of classic world of warcraft in the past few days.

I do believe later in wows life weapon chains were nerfed to like 50% duration. Its not surprising that Swifty has trouble remembering stuff that's changed a million times. I know in the beta so far I have been reminded of literal SPELLS I had forgotten about.

That last one is a good example of streaming not benefiting betas, sure it's just one report but imagine how many similar reports someone has to go through, double check just to facepalm and ignore it. :p

7:10 you know if we're being accurate... that technically shouldnt work anyways since lore-wise Dryads are immune to magic. But fucks sake, can you imagine trying to fight a spell-immune deer lady with poisons, deer speed, and athletics rofl. It's the same issue with Faerie Dragons

Loving the vids, a tip for next time. Try to use some different hype/epic music for clips instead of just megalovania and this 16 bit sounding piano song. They are epic but way overused. Hehe. There's tons of epic game music out there to use for hype clips. You could scan around older wow pvp vids and use some of those songs, or try to find 8-bit/instrumental remixes or versions of them. For eg. Dontain's use of 8bit Lamb of God (Laid to Rest). You could also use basically any intense/battle music from Capcom games like the megaman or megaman x series. As well as square/squaresoft/square enix 16 bit games. Like Terranigma or the FF series, secret of mana or chrono trigger. Keep the vids comin. Good stuff. Great clips and funny editing.
Thanks for this great feedback and your suggestions :) Because of past experiences I am allways a cautios when it comes to copyright. Do you have experiences with VGM music? Kinda scared big dogs like nintendo or square would strike me^^ I read in a forum that toby is fine with his music being used as long as its kinda transformative, so I mainly stuck to his songs with a few exceptions. @@MuffinmanWoW voyboy(league of legends content creator) constantly uses vgm in his vids! You could check those out. You could also always just pitch the mp3s down a half or whole step. It shouldn't be a problem for just a few seconds of music.

The only thing that makes me wanna play Vanilla - people, I mean, I personaly like dungeon, raid design in retail more, than in Classic WoW (more interesting mechanics etc) and I really like arena (the only thing that really was keeping me in the game from WotLK to BFA is arena, started pveing only in Legion), but the amazing creativity of people like Ooga gang, funny streamers lake Payo... Gosh it look's so fucking alive and cool, that I can close my eyes upon shitty class balance, boring raids (AQ and Naxx is fun raids in my opinion btw) and crazy pvp system. Looking forward to TBC legacy, hope everyone will get their favorite expac legacy servers!
i dont think naxx is fun but the streamer thing u can have on retail either just all streamers are stacked up on different realms
and here theyre forced to play all on the same realm
for exmaple many people gonna avoid streamer servers because it sucks to play on streamer server
Reducing the duration of Disarm effects by 50%. Does not stack with other similar effects. That's the 30-40 version of the original steel weapon chain.
They nerfed all "Immune to Disarm" mechanics in TBC to instead only reduce duration by 50%.
