Who am I?
Expert singing teacher, specialising in teaching children and young adults in singing and musical theatre. She has worked with the likes of The Saturdays for MTV, on shows such as Just the Two of Us for the BBC and many more. Throughout her years of teaching she has judged in many competitions, judging Lucy Spraggan, George Samson, amongst others who have gone onto succeed in the business.
I am the founder of Vocaltutor, (founded 2003) the UK’s largest vocal and singing tuition network and now The New Foundry Studios which opened in 2013.
I have worked with BBCTV on Just the Two of Us, with many celebrities including Natasha Hamilton of Atomic Kitten, plus has worked for ITV on many children’s TV programmes including The Worst Witch, as their vocal coach.

100 % Xtina is and has always been so dope and such a natural and amazingly talented vocal savage without a doubt; clearly she was ready to take over the world and she sure did with such a quick exploding and successful career from the get go. And still going strong even with over a decade break to focus on her beautiful family life!

Christina Aguilera is such a queen look at her she is just a child but still better than most of the "singers".
Christina Aguilera has always sounded like Christina Aguilera, you know? She has always put texture into her voice and has gone for complicated runs and riffs and growls. It's like you've said, her grown is done in such a way that is safe and healthy for her own anatomy.
Also, her performance of "I Have Nothing" is worth a watch. No 12 year old should sound that good.
I realized her vocal style remains the same even until now.
I love that some of the runs she made her signature at her current age can even be heard here, crazy to see how far back it goes

Yeah, I always thought that Christina Aguilera's growl technique is actually WAY healthier than people give her credit for!
The growling is part of her sound. It's an old school sound that not many people can do.
Honestly I’m a huge xtina fan , mega fan fighter here.
HOWEVER.. I do love her growls , I’m just not too into the overuse of distortion.
Every time she uses less distortion in her Performances , they turn out great
The growl is just a natural part of her voice. Slaying since she was 10 years old. If anybody was born to sing, its Christina.
The fact that some people say that she doesn't know how to use her voice but that's her voice since she was born. Real talent, a true vocalist!

And this right here is what sets here apart from other “popular” hit singers that people idolize now days. Who at that age (12) can sing like that? A #Legend. We as a generation can say we had the privilege to witness a star like Xtina with NO autotune.
She’s singing “Think” by Aretha Franklin from the movie Blues Brothers ... the kids are wearing waitressing uniforms like the scene in the movie, only the uniforms are clearly modernized for the 90s. Not school girl uniforms.

Did anyone else notice how Britney Spears was the sharpest/cleanest/best of the backup dancers? I think the outfits came from an innocent mindset. They were very modest/conservative. It wasn't sensual at all. The school girl look was a thing in the mid '90's (at least in America - see the film "Clueless" for reference).
RPvegan INFJ or Hit Me Baby One More Time..and Britney has always been more of a dancer than a singer, she even walks like a highly trained dancer.
Clueless had a certain look but it definitely wasn't a uniform lol the tennis class scene alone shows they won't wear a uniform even when in school colors for gym
This was great, and I'm not in the least bit surprised that Christina sounded like this so young. Clearly she was already at the top of her game and outshining many accomplished adults that were already bringing in the dough through their record sales.
All the arguments about who is 'better' are baffling to me when you are talking of vocalists of this calibre. It's about preference. I love many of the 'best' and equally some of the not so 'bests', but Christina is my personal favourite of the women because I love HER sound more than others. Just because we prefer one does not mean that the others are not equally awesome, they are just different and sometimes not to our individual tastes.
Also, I have to say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with schoolgirls wearing very realistic looking school uniforms. They were not in the least bit sexualised, unlike a lot of schoolgirl 'costumes' seen in other vids by older teenagers and adult women which very much are. These just make me think these girls rushed over to the studio after school was out and didn't bother to change. People need to stop sexualising normal things that young girls wear in perfectly innocent ways.

Georgina has consistently said that she has always liked Christina (and still does). Just because she (justifiably) points out some of Christina's bad habits doesn't change that. She has also noted (on multiple occasions) that Christina's technique seems to be working for her...it's just not something she'd recommend other singers emulate

The crazy thing is her snd Britney were neck in neck vocally during the mickey mouse club. Britney singing "i feel for you" on the mickey mouse club surprised me how powerful her voice was and how at 11 years old she could sustain a E5 the way she did. That being said Mickey mouse club def discovered some powerful houses especially christina.
Neck and neck vocally? Thats so not true. Christina's voice here is as fluid as water. Britney had cute big belts. That was it.
But she decided to be a puppet, that’s what Britney fans don’t get, yes, Xtina has sold less, but from 2002 she decided to fire everyone and start singing for her. Imagine Britney singing with her natural voice, own style.
That's not true at all. Christina was always known and celebrated to be the best child singer from and on the mickey mouse club. Britney used to be a good belter on star search but on MMC she had deteriorated significantly. Although she still had some solid moments there she never had the agility nor the live range and control that Christina possessed at the same young age which is why Christina got all the big solo's and praises and MMC had everyone else operate as Christina's background singers/dancers.
