Youths in Mandera and Wajir counties use sports to bring peace

Idleness among most youth in Mandera and Wajir counties has been cited as a possible cause to the continuous inter-clan fighting. But leaders from the two neighboring counties have identified sports as the only way to engage the youth and slowly but surely reduce the in- fighting. 21 youngsters from those regions have converged for a special training programme in Nairobi that is aimed at enabling the youth to become agents of peace in their respective regions.
