I feel like "animation" needs to get split into several categories at this point. This show's real strength lies in its ability to convincingly communicate movement through a 3 dimensional space. The direspect of tackling each and every clone before going for the main body, and NOT ONLY DITCHING HIS SWORD ON PURPOSE TO PUNCH HIM DIRECTLY TOO! The dog isn't even worth his sword
That stare down when he took down one of the clones sent chills (no pun intended :) ) down my spine and how he merc'd all the clones before taking out the original one.
I'm just curious how everyone is going to treat him now. Everyone hated him, but when he won the whole crowd cheered. If they go back to hating him its going to be weird.
Crowds love a good fight period at events like this. Even if it was a spell el did at two for the first time in a while someone else reached her lowest level and Will fought that mage and one neither of them was weak.
Since the wind magic guy stole the crown from under him at the last minute, I wouldn't be surprised if things go back to the status quo among the students. It would be immensely disappointing if the story went that route (much as the elf stealing the crown was disappointing), but, like the elf stealing the crown, I wouldn't be surprised if it happens.

Facts now the ice faction already wanted will now the lightning faction will want him since that one chick finna go report to her boss once she said his name
This episode was so good and the animation was crazy
The fluidity of the charater's face expressions is amazing!
I love how he maintains eye contact while stabbing a clone in the head.
You know that when the intro starts to play is because the protagonist is about to clap someones cheks 🙏
Funny he thought it would be a good idea to beat Will With a spell that was created by his best friend. But unfortunately for him when it comes to her, he knows her better than anybody else.
2:00 remember guys changing to the pistol is quicker than reloading
"I don't need this. Yeet!"
The direspect of tackling each and every clone before going for the main body, and NOT ONLY DITCHING HIS SWORD ON PURPOSE TO PUNCH HIM DIRECTLY TOO! The dog isn't even worth his sword
this fight alone shows it deserves a season 2. it showed an underdog beating an elite student and it did so beautifully
That stare down when he took down one of the clones sent chills (no pun intended :) ) down my spine and how he merc'd all the clones before taking out the original one.
it's so funny that this whole thing happened because Julius insulted the dwarf restaurant Will works at 🤣
That's what you get for coming to, a tavern just to insult the food!
Bro punched him so hard there were 3 frames
That was "total victory".
Well some people will likely change their minds, but I can't imagine the more hard-headed ones doing the same. Just keep that in mind
Ong I hope it's not like One Punch Man
Since the wind magic guy stole the crown from under him at the last minute, I wouldn't be surprised if things go back to the status quo among the students. It would be immensely disappointing if the story went that route (much as the elf stealing the crown was disappointing), but, like the elf stealing the crown, I wouldn't be surprised if it happens.
Probably he Will be treated like a hero when a huge chaos happens and he is going to be “the big hero”
You know something going down when OP theme starts playing midfight.
Yep; something big will happen, either in the protagonist's favour, or, when the music is suddenly cut off, in the opponent's favour.
0:33 HAS ME FEELING A CERTAIN WAY
💀
0:33 When you put hot food into your mouth
The detail that he wears goggles to keep his coat eyesight whole moving at high speeds... That's what sells me on his abilities.
Yeah, no way are his glasses staying on at that speed. 😅
Gotta respect the dude for not dropping his wand even when unconscious.
Will said "I grew up with the best, and your sub par"
Elfie watching: THATS MY BOI!!!!!!
1:40 Me, playing Sekiro and deflecting everything the boss is throwing at me.
0:16 oh that's a guy?!
"See this man claims to have mastered my girlfriend's magic. And I took that personally."
Props to earth girl for making him such a sharp and durable sword.
When you hear the op theme you know the battle gets really hype and the mc wins
This scene was amazing... will impailing julius in the head while looking at him was cold asf 🥶🥶 love how they showed the gaps in his teeth as he flew away 😂
It’s impressive that he did this feat with a wooden sword and wooden gauntlet.
The sword and gauntlet are actually made of rock magic.
Oof, my bad.
@@Evit-jq2ic Still a big feat though. Will has super human abilities. He also mastered his sword technique, so he is basically invincible if you say so.
There is fan theory that Rosty is Elfaria male clone, made for her to stay close with Will, while still being in the tower. If you will rewatch scenes with Rosti in this episode it's pretty obvious. When Elfie is awake Rosty has ony one eye open.
Give tower of god to this studio
This ^
Big facts!
no lie bro 🤣🤦🏾♂️
@@evlphysicals2086 no idea what theyre doing, just ruining TOG's reputation🤷♂️
Frrrr wasted potential
Julius didn't grit those teeth.
Elfie is OP, thats ALL
And Julius only know the bootleg version of her power
1:38 this reminds me of kirito
Yeah, gave me goosebumps.
Foi uma clara referência
My favorite part was after this, when Elfie, one of the most powerful mages of the age, was crying because she thought she had upset Will
boy's ahoge is so big he could use it for a fishing lure
Maaaaaaannn... what a difference in animation quality, when compared to the second season of "Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World"...
The animation of the first season was the best IMAO don't understand why they had to change it
@DharakRulerofDarkness different budget, director, and a new studio is helping animate it. Honestly, the drop in quality can be directly attributed to the director.
Something had me hooked since episode 1. Then I found out Fujino Omori wrote this then it all made sense.
Why have none of my friends been talking about this series? Why I gotta find out from UA-cam recommended???
Bro, at 2:00 I knew exactly what was happening after he threw that sword. "LET'S SEE YOU GRIT THOSE TEETH!" - Kamina
Caméra work going crazy good lord
Ice is such a fragile thing just like a huge ego
there will be no waiting 2:10
Hahahaha such a great comment, laughed hard
Rip Julius 💀💀. If u know u know
I think he is alive
That animation though...
As the great Kamina would say, GRIT THOSE TEETH
Bro, Will can literally speed blitz almost every wizard in this anime that's not Gandalf tier. It's so annoying watching him just stand their sometimes
Man said ‘Wait’ 😭😭😭
The hair whip at 1:49 whoo boy *chefs kiss*😊
This is like the Gohan vs. Cell Jr. sequence in "Dragon Ball Z," except this time they showed the correct number of copies being defeated.
Mash: He's learned well
Asta: We taught him well. Not giving up... is our magic!
This single episode has more animation effort than the whole s2 of ToG
I am so glad my first viewing of this anime was while i was super high. My jaw was on the floor for pretty much EVERY fight
This should be called PeakStoria: Wand and Sword 🔥🔥
Bro that's called over the top animation that made it so hard and completely amazing to watch. And the badassery of will is just the tip of the iceberg of this amazing phenomenon.
Was waiting for this
This is the moment Julius gets humbled and eventually started to slowly respect Will. He had such a good character development but his fate is just cruel. We will eventually miss Julius.
Why are you trying to be one of those jackasses who spoils the story for people who only watch the anime. Do Better Man
Was that a spoiler or a joke?
