Celebration of Falconry and Hoodmaking

Al Kamda Falcons and Stooper Falconry Equipment are proud to bring you a demonstration of the traditional craft of hoodmaking - (Kazuya Ishikawa) takes us through his entire process of making a hood for a falcon. The art of hoodmaking is an ancient and celebrated one within both Emirati and Japanese culture. Both Arab and Japanese people have practiced traditional falconry for more than a thousand years, making falconry an ancient link between cultures. Al Kamda Falcons is dedicated to supporting the Art of Falconry wherever we find it.
