Hey Max, that's what I like about your videos and why I enjoy watching them. No editing, no movie maker graphics, no fancy intro or outro, no music. Just raw video recorded from a camera, simple, straight to the point, what you see is what you get. From the camera straight to UA-cam. That's how I do my videos and that's the way I like it.
@Traxxion absolutely max you do a heck of alot the least I could do to show appreciation. But I really hope in the process in your inventory restock hopefully your able to have your logo factory ingrave. For example a spot like were you remove the 3m on the newest product so when a customer removes the 3m your logo shows up . Belly pan right smake in the middle., all the other parts small but it's on there. It's your own trade mark .and the best part is no one will be able to take that away from you ever.

@@Traxxion - I want this product so badly but am scared sh!tless to take off my shelter. May just wait and pay y'all to install when I ride down later this year for your Full Monty suspension, Max. Great video and, as always, phenomenal invention! Followed your YT video yesterday and did the fuel door drill hack - thank you for that one! Also, what's wrong with Rorex? The Chinese make great jeans too, particularly Revis and Wrangrers. I was in Costco earlier this week and there was an Asian dude who literally bought ALL the frozen egg rolls and dumplings out of the freezer section - he had TWO carts filled with food. I'm sure he was shopping for the Chinese restaurant his family owns, so it's nice to know they're marking up menu costs for Costco Chinese food. Poodles & Noodles - yummy!
As the old poster sez, "T'was Ever Thus". From Day One in 1975, Gold Wings have always had their fuel tanks under the seat instead of in the "traditional" position over the motor. There's never been a good place (cosmetically or practically speaking) to put the filler neck/gas cap on the outside surface of the bike. So, it's always been covered up. I can't personally speak for the first-generation GL-1000's, but from the GL1100's on, the gas cap has always been underneath a locking door. The current generation is the first one where that door's lock was not on the door itself, but going back to at least 1980, it's always been locked. PS: Gas and gas cap theft (cars and bikes both) has been a problem off and on since the first "gas crisis" in the early 70's, but the OEM's didn't really do much. If you lived in an area where it was a problem, you just bought a locking gas cap from the local parts store and called it a day. PPS: True, there isn't a lot of fuel to steal, but back in the day, kids used to pour sugar into gas tanks. I suspect that'd be even more trouble with a fuel-injection system, eh?
That is basically what this kit does. If you want to go full rogue, you can just remove the catch from the fuel door and put some velcro under it and a small knob on it.
It's an app on my phone that let's you mess with photos and such... but it was the only thing I could find that could splice my super long video without me having to buy video editing software, which I've never needed before.
Re-Cabulation... reconfiguring the door opening mechanisms on the 2018+ Goldwing. I have a couple of videos on this topic on my channel, just search "ReCabulation" it will pop up and explain it... although I review what it does in the intro of this video as well.
Was interesting until I saw I'll have to pull the shelter. I will more than likely sell mine when it needs the air filter changed. So I wont be pulling the shelter for this mod. lololol I only allow so much stupid in my life now days and this Wing qualifies.

Thanks. For what I do, I think it shows you when I make mistakes, the type of things you might encounter.
Honda should be paying you max you work very hard with ideas
Thank you, I appreciate that!

@Traxxion blame the politicians they give our jobs away to other countries. It's pretty mest up . Me myself I like quality not cheap stuff.

Hi Max, just what I was waiting for, a lock that compartment. Boy, I have quit a few things to order from your shop.
We're ready!
Love the way your mind works Max. Never understood why Honda makes the fuel door with a mechanical release. There isn’t a lot of fuel to steal.
I have not heard of any roving bands of fuel thieves emptying the tanks of poor retired Wingers!

Hey Max looks great on that hot Black and Red bike! By the way it works great!
Thanks! I'm glad you got it fitted, it is a bit tricky.
Great work!
Thanks!
How about just a manual fuel door release, rather than that annoying electronic two-step door release to another door release setup Honda has?

Will it be more difficult to remove the “glove box” after installing these cables when I go to change the air filter?
If you are worried about taking a single cable loose, why would you attempt to change your air filter?
When are you doing the video for the other side ?
It's in this video. You just reroute the loose cable from the servo motor down to the mounting block on the cylinder head.
Cool.
OK Max, I'll bite. What's a Picsart?

Now that's extravagant... but I like it!
