Very fortunate for everyone. The cause of the stuck throttle should be identified and shared with everyone. Broken return spring? Did the spring bracket rotate? Did the throttle linkage go over midway? Have seen those problems in the past, never good. So glad everyone is OK.
I'm sure the car has been looked over, did anyone confirm it was the throttle? This was one of the scariest crashes I've seen in a long time, definitely higher powers Saturday night, this was bad but could have been so much worse. Feel better John
Nobody else was involved and the driver was shaken up but OK. How, I couldn't tell you. We were pitted way down by the tech shed towards Turn 3 getting our stuff ready for the Modified feature, and I happened to hear "stuck throttle" over the PA and looked up to see 3/4 of the people in the pit area running towards one spot at the top of the hill. Wasn't a good feeling.
@@armorkat-autoworks One of the guys who races with us in the Modified division had to work on Saturday, otherwise he would've been there. His pit space is right where the car went through
This Comment is not about the crash And I'm not knocking these type of series LateModels I'm from n asphault racing Family But once I sat back and Listened to the Radio Chatter during this series It sucks The spotter is doin all the Racing Then you got different size Motors So you got Spotters telling you don't pass nobody we will be their at the end and to me all that put together sucks on a short track Yea I gett it but If you go watch Hunt the Front UA-cam channel when Joeseph got behind the wheel in one of these They tell him not to even try to get the Pole WTF that video she'd new light on these late models ZERO FUNN JUST WATCH THEY BARELY GET OUT OF LINE LET THE BOYS RACE I KNO A SPOTTER IS PROBALLY VITAL BUT ITS JUST MY OPINION THAT I DONT LIKE THIS SERIES NOW ......Hope everybody was okay in that crazy wreck drivers and pit crews as well GoD Bless

I heard from a guy I was buying parts from that he passed out from the heat & dehydration. Very scary incident regardless
Looks like the end of that pit area needs a area for runoff and no trailers or pit equipment then put like 15 layers of tires and a wall

There was a pickup truck parked next to a Late Model trailer that got pretty much wiped out
