You know, I had to listen to this a few times to really see how I felt about it. At first I was thinking 'oh boy, can't wait to see how the new version butchers my favorite song in this mod', and at first I genuinely did feel that way, though I continued to give it a shot on separate occasions and I feel very strongly that you did an incredible job on this. It reads as a love letter to the first version of this song, maintaining the feeling somewhat of the original while STRONGLY forming it's own identity.
tl;dr you popped off scrumbo excellent work

This song is good, I like it even. But it's, basically a completely different song. It feels weird that it's a replacement and not a different song. Again it's really nothing against this track in specific but more so the implication of it being a replacement. The original needles was my favorite song in the mod.

Could this really be called a remake of Needles? It sounds like an entirely different song! I think it's better than the original, don't get me wrong, but the two are so different from both a tonal and musical standpoint that you can't really compare em.

I was just in the other room for a couple of minutes, and I came back, and the door was open, and I checked the recording, 'cause I was recording, and, the door just opens on its own. I didn't do anything. So, I'll take it, right? Uh. So, I'm gonna show you what's in here now, I haven't seen it yet, so, uh, this could be interesting. Huh. (Paul heres a phone ringing and interacts with it, it says, "Care left the room." ) What is this? A, B, NLM. Uh. 'kay? Nothin'. (He interacts with a painting of a building. It's really spooky!!!!) (He also interacts with a painting of a windmill) This just keeps going. Uh. Yeah? (long period of gameplay where he just does not talk) Sorry for not talking very much. I'm a little bewildered, if you want to know the truth. This is a little more than I was expecting to see. (He interacts a grave. Michael Hammond 1988 - 1995 Mike was a gift.) That's a dead kid. Yup. Yup. Okay. (he finds a flower and interacts with it. Pulling a majority of the petals off before leaving.) Wait. Okay. (he finds the room with care crying and then leaves) (he then pulls the rest of the petals off, leaves and then finds Care looking really spooky) Okay. Uh. Wait... I don't know. well i only recently really started exploring all the different plugins i can use on FLstudio, so I've mostly been using FLEX, serum, and plenty of soundfonts. Recently I also started using a lot of the samples used in Pizza Tower, as there's a huge treasure trove of good stuff.

I suppose not constraining yourself to Remaking a song exactly, but instead to just keeping the general Vibe of the original song while making a new one, works better.
