Wow this is awesome! What a beautiful garden😍 So mesmerising! The owner of this garden must have given a lot of effort and time caring for this garden! Big Like 108 ❤️ Greetings 👋🏼 Rosa🌹
Hi Rosa good morning! Thank you for taking times wrote to me, I am sure you are a very dedicated gardener too, together we make this world more beautiful ❤
@@gardenofpraise567 I'm afraid I don't have a garden. I live in an apartment but love plants and flowers a lot! So I like doing flowers arrangement. I enjoy watching beautiful garden and I like visiting them too! I'll come and visit your channel again! Have a wonderful weekend.
Good morning my garden friend! Yes, my soil of acidic, great for mountain Laurel as well, but not for grass lawn, therefore we don’t force it, nature has the best treatment with little bit our helps. Thank you❤
The previous owner used to belong to the Connecticut rhododendron society, and the chairman lives right across the street, they are crazy about this plant😅
@@gardenofpraise567ezen nem csodálkozom, én is megőrülök érte 🤩. Néhány alkalommal ültettem, de sajnos a talaj adottságok nem megfelelőek számára és föladtam. Nem baj , most kiélvezem a szépségüket.
Good morning Catherine! Applying Holy tone for rhododendron and azalea once in early spring, once in fall; others just use what ever compose I have in the yard, add coffee grounds and eggshell to my hydrangea. Oh yes, cut off banana pill into small pieces and put into flowering potting really does the magic! I don’t use commercial mulching at all, instead letting all different plants cover the ground, together they automatically enrich the soil in just couple of years! It took quit a few years for my husband stop hiring people using pesticide to treat the lawn and shrubs, now the lawn looks better ( with clover in it😀), and the whole ecosystem is back on track… 9 years ago when we moved in, the soil was very poor, ornamental trees looked sad trying to fight for sunlight with huge oaks and pine, there was only one hydrangea shrub in the entire property, but now I have a summer garden too! It’s a learning process, I am grateful for all the resource out there in youtube teaching me so much! I should say that the British gardeners are more advanced and civilized then most of our Americans 😅
@gardenofpraise567 Thank you for your extensive reply! You provide further evidence for improving the soil as the best way to have healthy and beautiful plants. My husband and I have implemented that thinking into gardening this year. As for lawns and pesticides, my husband and I have moved to the country and don't have the pressure of suburban neighbors to contend with. However, the mosquito population, this year, has me thinking.....🙂
Dig one or two ponds for frogs, they’ll take care of the mosquitoes 😅lucky you moved to the countryside, my dream is to have 20 acres, no noise of mowers… I am sure you’ll learn as you go along, so much fun! Congratulations!
