After the performance, the doctor said that he had told him ‘no high notes’ and Dimash said they weren’t his high notes and of course he sings much higher notes normally. Lol. Dimash didn’t do quite his normal notes for this song. If you watch the Bastau concert you will see the correct version,

With your research I felt so sorry for this young child and as the song progressed I found myself weeping like it was me that was left behind. I always cry when I hear this song. It’s so sad. Dimash said his throat felt like he was swallowing glass shards during and after the performance. It took him three weeks to recover.
Incredible how Dimash is able to sing even with a sore throut. Maybe you want to react to “Samaltau” of “Amanat”? Both are on the traditional side of Dimashes repertoire.
I heard that Dimash was in extreme pain during and after that performance. Describing how your throat felt because of the Corona virus, was probably similar to what Dimash experienced back then. Being the professional, however, Dimash sang anyway, ignoring the physician's advice, and still offered a stellar performance.

After this you really should watch Daybreak from Bastau concert where his voice was healthy. It is legendary. Don't know what happened to your audio. There is a delay and reverb and cracking as well. Hope you can fix it.
I came here to say this. For me it’s not even to compare bc if I hadn’t known he had to get shots in his neck/was sick.. what’s crazy about Dimash is his sick is as good or better than anyone’s normal. I loved his performance on the Singer competition. HOWEVER BASTAU DAYBREAK IS EPIC!!! And must also be seen. Talk about flow of brilliance, beauty, & power!

His grandmother was a teacher and his grandfather was a type of cleric in the Muslim mosque and other work. He pretty much gives them whatever they need or want.

Thanks for another great reaction, Insanian--since I've recently found you (and immediately subbed), I've always looked forward with what you have to say. And I must say it's a welcoming change for a man who is secure enough in his masculinity to display his vulnerability and some of his deepest emotions. This world needs you. I would like to add a bit more backstory, if you would like. There's a video out there showing another contestant, Li Jian (the guy at the end of the couch at 10:58), who went out and bought Dimash some sort of herbal medicine out of his own money...which is soooo kind in and of itself. And then it was revealed that this treatment was MORE EXPENSIVE THAN GOLD. That says quite a lot about just how much his fellow contestants loved him, right from the beginning. Also, soon after he finished, it was said he was basically not able to sing again for awhile. Many called it a miracle that for such a short amount of time he could sing at all, let alone give such an outstanding, heartfelt performance such as this. As you make your way through watching Dimash's videos, you will discover there are certain songs which also, like you, affect Dimash deeply. And this song was one of them, due to the trajedy plus his absolutely adoring children (there's many videos of him interacting with them). I heard that Dimash was in extreme pain during and after that performance. Describing how your throat felt because of the Corona virus, was probably similar to what Dimash experienced back then. Being the professional, however, Dimash sang anyway, ignoring the physician's advice, and still offered a stellar performance.
Actually had steroids injected in his throat ! Still sang high notes , but at Bastau he held them longer !

I came here to say this. For me it’s not even to compare bc if I hadn’t known he had to get shots in his neck/was sick.. what’s crazy about Dimash is his sick is as good or better than anyone’s normal. I loved his performance on the Singer competition. HOWEVER BASTAU DAYBREAK IS EPIC!!! And must also be seen. Talk about flow of brilliance, beauty, & power!

His grandmother was a teacher and his grandfather was a type of cleric in the Muslim mosque and other work.

Thanks for another great reaction, Insanian--since I've recently found you (and immediately subbed), I've always looked forward with what you have to say. And I must say it's a welcoming change for a man who is secure enough in his masculinity to display his vulnerability and some of his deepest emotions. This world needs you.
I would like to add a bit more backstory, if you would like. There's a video out there showing another contestant, Li Jian (the guy at the end of the couch at 10:58), who went out and bought Dimash some sort of herbal medicine out of his own money...which is soooo kind in and of itself. And then it was revealed that this treatment was MORE EXPENSIVE THAN GOLD. That says quite a lot about just how much his fellow contestants loved him, right from the beginning.
Also, soon after he finished, it was said he was basically not able to sing again for awhile. Many called it a miracle that for such a short amount of time he could sing at all, let alone give such an outstanding, heartfelt performance such as this.
As you make your way through watching Dimash's videos, you will discover there are certain songs which also, like you, affect Dimash deeply. And this song was one of them, due to the trajedy plus his absolutely adoring children (there's many videos of him interacting with them).
