Movie dates, put the movie on at the same time when you're on the phone and watch together, makes you feel like you're together. Always have your next visit planned so you're not anxious and have a day to look forward too. And keep supporting eachother, you can do it😊
We are all here for you in these tough times- when my boyfriend and I did long distance and I got sad I would focus on how happy reuniting would be! You got this girl!!
long distance can be really hard, I've been there (especially with the time change). Mind sound weird but we found it really helpful to have a shared calendar in the calendar app. We'd add our work schedules & then also schedule when we were going to facetime or watch the same movie/show in netflix, etc.) We also did biweekly check ins where we'd check in with each other to make sure the other person is doing okay/and just to make sure we're on the same page/nothing needs to be addressed. Sometimes these were super quick, other times one of needed a little reassurance if it was a busy couple weeks and we didnt talk a ton (stuff can get lost in translation with LDR's). It was just a nice way to make sure small issues didnt become big issues, both of us were feeling secure, supported and valued, and to make sure we were both making the relationship a priority. Sending you both lots of love and positive thoughts!
long distance honestly makes the relationship so much stronger, and its not ideal at all - but it helps push you to do you. In a sense it really shows how much both of y'all really want it. Setting dates to visit also really helps! If you ever want anyone to talk to about this, I got you girl.
I was in a long distance relationship for 2 years, and always having our next trip to see each other planned out really helped! You need to have something to look forward too. Also, we FaceTimed and texted everyday which is so important for communicating and feeling close. We shared the mindset that being together while far apart is better than not being in each others lives at all!
my long distance tips are still making time for each other, communication, and facetimeeee! so much facetime! this vlog was so touching and made me remember when my boyfriend and i were doing long distance, it’ll be so, so amazing when he comes back though! also the amount of true crime talk in this vlog gave me LIFE!!! 🖤
I started crying because I can just re feel all the emotions i feel when my boyfriend leaves. My best advice is a long thoughtful goodnight text, it doesn’t always have to be super long but long enough where you feel loved and reassured. Sometimes it’s hard to talk to them a lot during the day when your both busy so if you Atleast get in a FaceTime and a goodnight night it just really reassures you that they love you and you can make them feel good and it’s a good way to kinda explain your day if you didn’t have time to earlier. And ask for anything you need for them and wish them luck for the next day
Hey girl I totally feel ya. My boyfriend and I have to do international long distance for the time being. And even though it’s hard it shows you how strong you are as a couple! The anticipation is always the worst, but it’ll be okay! It’ll go by fast!
i had a really sucky day at work today but i got home and remembered you were posting today and it made me feel so much comfier like i was really upset but i decided i was gonna watch your video before i go to sleep
Me and my husband are long distance. (He's CA I'm MD). But we have scheduled "date" nights at least once a week. Watching a movie together and video chatting during it, playing a video game together (escape room games are fun partner like challenges!), or sometimes well do dinner together. Where we order food from the same place or category and eat and chat before watching a movie. All the times in between, we will sometimes surprise each other a written letter, or order each other lunch/dinner with a good delivery service (especially when we know the other one has like a hard or a big day). Other than that it's just including the other and sharing our day through pictures/messages whenever we feel like it. So we always feel "connected". I think a healthy perspective is to share your life with your partner while apart, but also encouraging them to find Hobby's, meet people, doing fun things basically while you're away from each other. Gives you things to talk about and a chance to be a supportive partner, instead of only being a partner who talks about missing each other, and focusing on the fact that you're apart.
Good luck with long distance! Did it for 5 years while my fiancé was in the military and one of those times was in Europe with a 9 hour time difference 😩 Do your best to communicate as often as you can. Even text each other while the other is sleeping so you can wake up and see what they did that day 💕 and of course lots of FaceTime 😍
Long distance is so hard but its doable, but it works both ways, communication is key in long distance also giving each other space at the same time, facetime helps a lot, texting 24/7 too whenever possible, sending each other pictures of each other, sending love notes too!!! Me and my husband spent 7 months apart it was so hard but we manage to work together and communicate as much as we can and it works out, it’s also the best feeling in the world when you get to see them in person again!!☺️❤️ And for you just try to stay busy and distracted it helps with the pain so your not missing them so much!!
When my fiancé (then boyfriend) studied abroad for 6 months, we would plan "dates" and I would get dressed up and we would FaceTime and eat together. It can help keep things feel semi normal!
:( you are so cute... now i am sad too because i can feel your emotions, but i can say that it is a good part in this, when you will be together you can live the life at the maxim, will make you appreciate the time you do spend even more ❤️❤️
I loved this video so much! I know I say that about all of your videos but I loved how real you were to us in this one! Just remember that absence makes the heart grow fonder 😌I also aways have to sleep with a fan on just for the noise 😂
Stay strong girl! You got this ❤️ He will be back in no time and hopefully you can visit!! Ps. I am a fan girl. I love having that noise in the background. I can’t sleep without it, it’s too quiet
I did long-distance with my boyfriend for six months while I was in France. It’s really hard but in the end you just have to be really honest with the person you’re with and communicate well to help them feel the trust. But also completely understand that they’re still living life and not making it so that they have to be on their phone all the time to make you feel good. When a person you love leaves it hurts but they’re still that person. Just a little farther away
Hello! I love your channel & all your videos. Myself and my boyfriend did 10 months of LD with a 6 hour time difference. It was certainly difficult and crappy but we made time to do movie nights, FaceTime calls, coffee dates (on facetime), phone calls, wrote letters.. it’ll go by quick hopefully but it’ll be no time before you are able to visit. You’ll totally cry and miss him and feel crappy but it will be worth it. And it’s true, distance really does make you appreciate the time with them even more than you already did. Sending you love ❤️
I've been doing long distance for almost two years and I haven't seen my bf in over a year because of COVID restrictions. I totally feel your pain, but you will slowly get used to your new routine. Facetime at least once a day, keep each other updated, share some memes...include your partner in most of the things you do. You can definitely make it, and your relationship will get stronger through time if you both put in the effort :)
Hi, Chelsea ❤️ My boyfriend and I are going on 3 years now and we’ve long distance the entire time. We live 3 hours away from each other and we get to see each other maybe 2 weekends out of the month. What works for us is FaceTiming as much as possible! The face-to-face interaction is a nice “almost” together feeling. Another thing that works for us writing each other letters sometimes. If there’s a time of when we couldn’t see each other for awhile (for example this past quarantine, we didn’t see each other for 2 months), we would write each other long heartfelt letters to let the other one know they’re still loved and it’ll be okay. Hang in there! Long distance sucks, but it’s worth it when the time comes to see each other again. Xoxo ❤️
I was long distance for 4 years with my now husband! When we met I was a freshman in college and he was a senior (we went to the same college) but he went to Medical school across the country 4 months later and we would see each other every 4-6 months or so. Some tips that made it easier was having movie nights through zoom! You can share your screen or he can share his and you can watch together. Also calling any chance you get. Good morning and goodnight texts. Random love letter emails. Small random gifts. Communication skills and trust are SO important and lastly, planning future trips/times to see each other will keep things exciting. And during the hard times remember.. hopefully it will just be temporary and one day you will be able to be together again!
Girl, I feel your hurt 💔my boyfriend and I have been doing long distance on and off for the past 4 years and he just left again last week for South America. It sucks but it’s so comforting knowing that you’ve done it before and that you can do it again (which it sounds like you guys have too). And how cool is it to think about how strong your relationship must be if you guys can make it through that multiple times! And when he comes back it’s almost like you’re dating for the first time again in a way and I find it kind of exciting 😊 I just try to keep myself busy and it’s inevitable that your gonna miss him beyond belief. But I think as long as you carve out time for each other (especially being in different time zones) and know that it’s temporary it mentally makes it a little bit easier and it will go by quicker than you think. Good luck and I hope it goes by so fast!
My boyfriend and I have been doing long distance for two years. I know how tough goodbyes are. You’ll get through it. I’d recommend video chatting as much as possible. I bring my boyfriend all around my apartment and show him everything, even the most boring things, so he knows everything that is going on.
i know im watching this vid a bit late but i can almost feel your pain chelsea. my boyfriend and i have nearly been together for 2 years now and im moving my whole life to the neatherlands and i have to leave him behind. we gonna try long distance but we gonna be seperated for at least 4 years. its so tough and confusing. almost dont know how we gonna do it. so dont worry you are not alone in this.
Chelsea, ik i am late watching this video today just because of college work and stuff 😞but hey i feel you...i can very well make that at about 18:53 you were kinda crying inside🥺🥺🤧don't worry this will pass too..and soon you'll be spending quality time with your boyfriend! Ik it is difficult than said..but dw❤💃🏻
You need to watch Bailey Sarian if you love true crime. She is the BEST and she is so funny too. I can also relate to the long distance 100%. My boyfriend is in the military and we had to do long distance for 8 months and it wasn’t easy. Once you are reunited it’s all so worth it! 🥰
I’m the kind of person that loves paranormal activity books documentaries and books...but then is paranoid at night with the idea that a poltergeist will grab my foot from underneath my bed lol
I was long distance all throughout college and my fiance and I are STILL long distance because I'm in law school now. I know how much it hurts when they leave. And how every day seems like ages. But you have to keep the friendship, romance, and support going strong. Communicate honestly and acknowledge that you are both strong and can get through it together.
Long distance is so ridiculously hard. My boyfriend will be going away again soon too, and I’m dreading it. I’m sorry you have to go through it, I wish you the best!
Its always hard and sad to Say good bye to ur lover s one , but keep in mind its temporary and Time flys by anyway sooner he will get back to u Just be patient..sending u much love 😘

Im definitely backgrpund noise sleep love to hear my fan. Goodluck with Aiden going to Europe, its so sad, but you guys are so cute!! Totally random & I know that you have a million things on your plate. But have you considered starting an online reading group? Where your subscribers can “read” along with you. You always have the best book recommendations😊
I've had friends who were fans of fans ;) B/c i grew-up in a development between two major highways, i don't actually sleep well unless i have either ocean noise or highway noise - so no wonder why I've been sleeping like a baby, since I moved into this apartment 10 months ago ;> Good for you for closing and locking the windows!!! (Do you watch any true crime UA-camrs?)
Hi Chelsea this is Kim! I liked your video thanks. I liked your clothes you wore! I think you looked good in your sage green sweater, and the black sweater! I'm sorry to hear about your boyfriend. How long is he supposed to be gone? I had a long distance relationship with a ex boyfriend before I met my husband! I think you can make a video call, or write to your boyfriend. Hope this helped? Take Care, Kim🎃

I’m late to this vlog, been catching up. Just wanted to say my boyfriend and I did long distance for 2 years, 1 of which he was deployed overseas. I know how difficult it is, but it truly makes your time together that much more special. And it’s all temporary! I know everybody says this, but honestly communication is key. You can always set aside time for you two to have movie dates on the phone. It gets better❤️ I moved from IN to NC 2 months ago and now my boyfriend and I aren’t long distance anymore. Thinking of you and hoping you can go see your bf soon!
What do you use on your lashes to make them so long and strong?? Also in a LDR but don't worry just remember you are both in it together for the long run

How old are you
Are you still friends with the girl you rented the house with?
Hi Chelsea this is Kim! I liked your video thanks. I liked your clothes you wore! I think you looked good in your sage green sweater, and the black sweater! I'm sorry to hear about your boyfriend. How long is he supposed to be gone? I had a long distance relationship with a ex boyfriend before I met my husband! I think you can make a video call, or write to your boyfriend. Hope this helped? Take Care, Kim🎃
