Josh calling me a bad ass and them both congratulating me for having a baby 4 weeks ago- spoke to me like you don’t even know. Thank you for that! 4th baby- you guys will be AMAZING! I promise it actually gets “easier” ♥️
Thank you for speaking about mental health and sharing your experience. Its so important for the stigma to be removed about pre and post natal depression as I felt so alone during my experiences of PND. Love you guys, you're both so sweet and down to earth. Thank you x
You two are so cute. If you didn't have that team mentality it would be so much harder. Wishing all the stars align for things to go healthily and happily 💛💛💛
Thanks for shouting out the badass mummas! I gave birth via c section 3 days into lockdown here in England in March 2020, my husband met our 2nd daughter for 20 mins before he had to leave! 😢 The hardest but best time of my life, she saved our 2020. ❤️ Best of luck to you both! ❤️❤️
Would Josh ever agree to signing up for experimental cloning? 😂 I am agreeing with everyone else. We all need a Josh. You guys leave it all out there and let us know that nothing is always perfect. Always inspiring. I've followed you since degrassi, and I'm glad to have your real life shared with us all. We all have to remember, everyone's blood us red. We are all just people. Keep up with this. I'm excited to follow the rest of your journey. Thank you!
Love this! We are expecting baby#3, who happens to be a girl this time after 2 boys! Totally different experience about to happen to my house! Good luck on your pregnancy journey! My 5yr old is obsessed with becoming a big brother!
I can tell it was a very difficult decision to make going with the scheduled C-section. It was such a hard decision for me to make too my second time around. My second baby and I ended up with a pretty scary complication and they had to take her out a couple weeks early so I was at peace with it at the end. It didn't matter how she came into the world, it just mattered that she came out and was healthy. I hope that you can find peace with the decision. I never got the birth experience I had dreamed of, but I've got my two sweet little girls and in the end how they get here isn't that important except when you are in the thick of it ( I can say this 19 months out from my last baby, time heals for sure).
My cousin had her baby last December alone, and she remained all by herself during the recovering, since she had a C-section and was ill by that time and during labour (can you guess of what? 😷), receiving just one or two times a day the doctor or the nurses. She was so brave, and I’m sure her daughter will be so proud of her mama as well when she is aware of it. You moms are the real and ultimate superheroes 🦸🏻♀️
I’ve had 4 c-sections 2004,2007,2015,&2017 trust me it’s al good! I was able to walk out of the hospital for the last one rather than be wheeled out! You got this! 😉
"No you speak, it´s your body. ..." Oh Josh. You are killing us. What a fine human being! Shenae & Josh, you guys are amazing. We need more people like you out there. 🙌♥
I sometimes worry about C-sections and doctors. Hearing how some doctors just do cesarean because it's faster and makes them more money. Sucks that medical trust is low but I'm super glad to hear you guys are listening to the professionals and know what's best for your body while safest for the baby. You got this!
My mom always says she recommends C-sections she had such a positive experience and to her it was much easier. But of course sadly not everyone has that experience😔
Yay for the bonus Beech video this week! Cannot wait for your little man to arrive. I have had loads of ideas of name predictions, & I think it’ll be something like Jagger, Hendrix, Ziggy or Dylan 😃👶🏼🤰🏻👨👩👧👦
I’m 35 weeks pregnant with my 2nd and did not have a successful vaginal birth the first time. Hearing your story brought back some traumatic memories of my birth experience of 17 hours of labor, my daughter got stuck and I had to have an emergency c-section. I was not prepared for that either! This time around my doctor recommended a planned c-section and I feel so much emotional relief that I won’t have to go through that trauma again.
Thank you for making me feel seen with this video. I had my son in August last year and I don't think I quite have the words to describe how crazy it was to have him in a pandemic. The idea of how I thought having my first child would be and what it actually was were very different things. I had to learn to let go of my expectations a go with what was presented to me. You guys are so awesome as a couple and my kiddo loves listening to Bowie talk lol thank you for all the great content and for being you.
My younger brothers and all my friends brothers all played with dolls and dress up and pretend weddings where they were the bride with us and they all turned out awesome. I hate when people are strict about gender differences and get stuck up about it😩let them play and be happy.
Had my first baby by csection and my snd one will also be by csection for security. When I saw you talking about it, its remind me how I also feel the same. Like we always would have love to have it naturally but csection its the better option even tho we feel a little disappointed. ❤️
We have three kids (3, 2 and 1) - when all three decide to have a tantrum together, my husband and I started singing opera... and we just go with it, because we are outnumbered... Hang in there and it's okay to lose your s&&t!! Keep safe and healthy!
I gave birth to my 3rd child in May of 2020 😱 so high 5! She was a 2nd VBAC. Sending you good vibes and a smooth rest of the pregnancy! You guys got this!
I think it is great to let your kids follow their interests (within reason lol) of course, but, I also think there are biological differences that do create general differences naturally and research supports that. Jordan Peterson talks about some of this. Enjoy!
Congrats beech fam.. so excited to see the new baby!!!! shenae you are a bombshell diamond, i have always been the biggest fan since 92010 ...hope to see more videos or vlog... Bowie is going rocking to be a big sister , she is the cutest baby ever... hope you guys are well and safe .. I LOVE U BEECH FAM ALWAYS AND FOREVER .
I have a pre pandemic (Dec 2019) baby and will have a (hopefully post) pandemic Nov 2021 baby. Bookending it!! 🤰🏻All the best in the last trimester and positive vibes from Canada 🇨🇦
It's all beautiful chaotic fun. My first was a girl and my second a boy like yourself. It's a little crazy at first but then you'll get ur new routine going for you guys . Little boy tip , watch yourself during diaper time. It's a lot different with baby boys . Very easy to get peed on, like soooo much. More range then it was with my daughter. No one told me, Or warned me, I should say. Got it to the face a few times and quickly adapted to a shield defense 😂lol You have a beautiful family and I look forward to catching up when I can. It's a crazy world out here. You bring joy and goodness into it. And that's a beautiful thing to put out into the world today.
I had an emergency c section in 2018 for the same reasons, swelling leading to a reverse dilation. It was traumatic and with multiple complications and a difficult recovery. I just had an elective cesarean 14 days ago and it was an amazing experience. So calm, no complications and I felt amazing and back to normal within a few days. Good luck with your upcoming birth.
If you are still on the fence about giving birth vaginally or not: During my first pregnancy, I was in labor for 36 hours after I was told I needed an emergency C-section. With my second pregnancy, I had a VBAC (after 26 hours of labor). Needless to say, both experiences were super tough and new to me and my husband. Have faith in yourself and in the experience. It could go either way and so being prepared and having an open mind about the whole thing will go a long way. Try to keep your expectations low (I know it's easier said than done). Before you know it, they are 4 and 6 years old and then 14 and 16 :) Much love xoxo
So happy for your whole beautiful family! You both are such great supports for each other. I applaud Josh’s mom, she clearly knows how to raise a good son, which is unfortunately not always the case. I have no doubt that you both will raise some amazing little humans! Congrats 🎉✌️✌️
I totally relate to you in wanting my vbac. I know you don't need some strange on the internet telling you what to do but here goes my 9 cents.... Trust your gut. Know your birth rights. Research. Have supportive team. The vbac link is a great resource, so is evidenced based birth. From one one mama to another I wish you an empowered birth. 💪🏽
I remember watching your birth story and it was the exact same as my first delivery, it was great to know someone else had the same thing. I did have another child and scheduled the cesarian and it was so much better and peaceful and recovery was so much smoother. Good luck with everything this go around.
Oh so good to get a virtual high five from the Beeches to all the baby mamas who gave birth during this pandemic, I had my baby boy Christmas Day 2020, first baby , scary times but we did it, sending your family love, health and happiness from Ireland 🇮🇪 xxx
I, with my doctors, decided to do a schedule c-section with my second because of how my body didn’t properly labor and required an emergency c-section after 24 hours of labor. It was such an amazing and special experience that I’m not sad I couldn’t do a VBAC. And most importantly we both were healthy. And it is NOTHING like an emergency c-section. I hope everything goes super well for you! Congrats!
I had the same first experience and opted for a csection the second time. 1st time was traumatic because I stopped dilating, and had to be put to sleep during the procedure which lead to me only meeting my son 2 hours after birth. I felt like that moment was taken from me, and it really affected me mentally for months afterwards. Second time, I wanted to make sure I knew what to expect, and that I was able to see my baby girl come into this world...hear the first cry ❤️ it was perfect! I was so happy that finally I had the moment I had always wanted. Also, planned csection recovery was AWESOME!! Such a fast recovery ;) goodluck mama!!
@@shenaegrimesbeech thank you so much! Really loved hearing your thoughts on birth... I also had an emergency section first time round so have to make the choice which way to go thsi time and I’m so lost on what to do! X
I love both of your comments regarding gender norms and how that doesn’t matter to you as long as you have happy & healthy babies. It’s always refreshing to hear things like that. 💖 sending love to you!
Planning to have a first baby next year. Due to underlying conditions that could give me awful trauma and a very long recovery i think I will have to elect to go the c section route if I want to have kids. There is still a kind of oh no I won't get to experience birth as nature intended and a kind of a sadness for that. Woud love to hear more of your perspective and experience on opting for a c section!
