If you accept an order that doesn’t have an upfront tip, you can take the catering itemized receipt the restaurant should print out and have, then get the customer to sign and optionally add gratuity. Submit to DT and they will add for you. If no tip, call and they will add an incentive (10$-20$, seems ambiguous) to the order. Feels weird to call asking for a tip after the fact, is what it is I guess.
I had my first restaurant yesterday that handed me that paper and I did not know what to do with it. I gave it to the people I was delivering to. Are we supposed to get it back and have them sign it and put a tip on it?

In a situation like that I do what you did there park in a spot and turn on your hazard lights that will identify you as the driver
I didn't see that Brio offer, I was booked anyway and wouldn't have been able to do it.. no clue how you got it, but run with it lol.. and now you're getting it, why I love catering so much.
