So helpful ...by going step by step it makes so much sense and something I would love to try.. thank you 😊x
Glad it was helpful!
You are truly amazing. I always learn new things from your videos.
You for sure deserve more views
I appreciate that!
I've learnt so much from your videos! Basting is a fantastic tip. I hate unpicking so will definitely try. I made the unisex hoodie for my partner yesterday. He loved it! I inadvertently colour blocked as I ran out of fabric for the sleeves - it turned out great! I now want to make my own hoodie. Your video was so easy to follow 😁
Glad it's helpful and you're having fun!
Yet another solid video! Love it! BTW your tulip top pattern is single-handedly responsible for me falling in love with sewing raglan tops and colour blocking. I don't think I can go back to the ol' boring long sleeves ever again. Love from Ireland!
Thanks - I'm so glad you like that pattern!
Hi Melissa!! Thanks for the wonderful information on how to do multiple different color blocks.. Deeply appreciated....

Glad it was helpful!
This helped me a lot with getting a better idea to draft my Nightwing hoodie. Thanks!
Glad I could help!
I love the shirt you are wearing ..the other color blocking seems so time consuming. ..but I do love the look!
It's really not too time consuming - just tracing and recutting a pattern.
Brilliant, thank you!
You're very welcome!
Very helpful, thanks!
You're welcome!
Love it! Very easy to understand how to chop up the pattern. Thank you! One question, would you also need a seam allowance between the ivory and the coral?
Yes you do
Wowww pretty cool 😎
Thanks 😁
good tips!
Thanks for watching!
Which color of thread to you use when working with two very contrasting shades (e.g. navy and beige)?
You can use one color in your bobbin and one on top of your machine so that each side of the seam has the corresponding color. For topstitching used the color that matches where the stitches will land on the right side.
@@Mellysews thank you!! I‘ve just tried it and it looks really neat 🤗
Love the ideas. Thank you. Can I ask if it is easy to add the zip please?
The zipper in the half zip shirt? I'm working on getting the video for that edited and uploaded.
@@Mellysews great. Thank you.
