The work makes the traditional pipa-playing and folk songs a new trend, while blending the orchestral music and jazz with a distinctive Chinese style. The clear sound of the pipa is almost poetic, showing the inclusiveness of China’s national instrumental music. The dreamlike story of Yunnan lingering around the fingertips as a charming melody is turned into the glory of the era in the bustling metropolitan!
