JD you GOTTA react to Absolutely by Dijon. It’s a genuine masterpiece
Lupe Fiasco
I wish Lupe never compared himself to Kendrick. It's clear that they are both needed in the game. It's also clear that Kendrick is a fan, because they both drink from the same literary fountain. When there is so few truly inspired hip hop artists, is it really worth it to compare and contrast?
Lupe is a tier above Kendrick lyrically, Kendrick os better in other departments but people get irationnally triggered by this like it's an insult
Well it's easy to understand the frustration, for example if you and your friend both good at something but your friend got majority of the praises and only a minority group of people recognize your works, would you be mad about that?? We're all humans after all, the feeling is inevitable, but the lesson is we gotta learn to accept and move on as long as there are people that appreciate your contributions just like Lupe did
I need a Nas and Lu project
We need BREEZY john!!
Who else is even speaking this broadly about humankind like that? 10:29

Great Album.
Nope.. I got lupe vibes from this
Yeah I wasn't even saying "Kendrick vibes" but just TPAB specifically. It had me swaying in the same way for some reason.
Again, not even comparing the projects, it just felt like a parallel thing to me, but in its own lane.
