I was two months there a long time ago. Starting AS an auf pair girl. I really loved the place. The beach directly in Front of the house. Wow. Since then I have never Seen sich a beautiful. Place so very close to the beach. My Job though was not the right one, so I left to live in Boston and I reallyyyyyyy loved it. I love America. God bless. I miss it
I just love the suburban feel of Madison. I also love the the access to the beaches. Am out of state Philadelphia. I am currently residing in the New Haven area. I am looking to buy up property on the shoreline.
Nice video. One clarification it takes much longer than an hour and 10 minutes to get to New York. The Metro North train from New Haven to Grand Central takes about hour and 45 minutes or even longer.
Nice video and I agree -- Madison IS a beautiful town. But... "surprisingly affordable," not so much. If you pull down a minimum of $250,000.00 a year, sure, but if you're an "average working Joe" like most folks, myself included, it's a nice place to visit but you can't afford to live there.
"very affordable place to live" ??? vs. what, NYC? Have a friend that lives there and tells me how $$ it is there, and how they (and CT) tax EVERYTHING .. Who ever heard of toll beaches, btw? Note the video was shot in July .. try viewing scenes of the city in winter, with all the snow and ice .. Typical real estate co. pablum ..
This place is hell, it is full of racists and it is certainly not affordable. The schools are unprofessional and cover up bullying problems,vi actually went to court with Brown middle school.
Dude I ummmmm live here now and all of that is bullshit the schools are literally the best and the racist white town vibes are stereotypes- it is an amazing place to live even though it is expensive
I live in Madison and I can say visitors and new residents are always welcome! It is an amazing place to grow up in

Agree that’s why I left. Electric rates, taxes, and too liberal..😮
Hey, why is 18th August 1985 left blank in your town’s history?
This town looks so perfect. Exactly like Stars Hollow, Gilmore Girls.. I would love to live here. Currently living in London, UK.
I know that this comment was from 7 years ago- but if y’all ever need a tour guide for ct I’m down to help y’all
