But Joseph was not his father .... he was his step father according to that story so he is not of the line of King David...not that you will listen because you want to prove your fairy tale is true.

I am somewhat of a literalist so to me when the Father says they are one flesh I take it as fact. Admittedly that scares me enough to be very hesitant to get married. I thought it would separate me from the heavenly Father. I thought having kids would do the same, but one of my Rabbi friends told me the first commandment was to be fruitful and multiply, so that took care of that. Plus the heavenly father made it rather clear that the children are his, not anyone' else so how could kids be a hindrance. From my minimal understanding of marriage, I believe its a contract between the two and a covenant with the Father, so sex is not a prerequisite. If for some reason you feel the need to convert you have to go to your local Orthodox Jewish Court and ask them for guidance.
