Ends the battle a lot quicker, as anticlimatic as it sounds. Then again, probably makes his father proud defying the weapon triangle (that doesn't exist in HM) and just using a hammer.
@@myssledissle Azura would friggin be slaughtered by ike. Strength isn't everything, and Ike's best stat isn't even his strength, it's his skill, by which he can get 40 skill by radiant dawn endgame. Azura wouldn't even touch ike since her hp and defense are completely outclassed by ike.

The point is to have the "brave heroes" be the characters having a throwback variant of said character, be it in the form of the outfits of the deceased like Ike, Hector, Roy and Ephraim, promoted classes like Lyn and Lucina or old character designs like Veronica and Celica.
I like that Fire Emblem actually made a live action trailer, most companies dont even do that anymore. Maybe if Nintendo did make it a little more accurate, it could become a series or movie

tecnically, since lyn is from FE7 which is a prequel of FE6 (where roy is the protagonist) yes, they live in the same wold, but FE 7 is 20 years before FE6 , and in FE7, its possible to eliwoof (the canon father of roy) and lyn can marry if you get them to A support level(the mother is not confirmed and there are some other girls that eliwood can marry, the same goes with hector and his daugther lilina)
The effects and the props were Meh, you could see that they were just cosplay props BUT I give Nintendo props for these live action ads. Like I would love to see more of these, but with a better quality.
Why is everyone hating on this so much? I like the fact that it doesn't look 100% like the game.... it reminds me of the days in the 80's and 90's when promotional art for video games (such as Mega Man 1) weren't the best. It has its own special charm.

I personally love it, especially since they didnt do this with any other fire emblem game, and make it look as crazy as this. We need a FE movie! Having Lyn's hair match the fur she wears is honestly a good call for a live action piece, Ike's performance was good, the Lucina backstory shot was done as well as I could have hoped for, and that Durandal model is great, especially for the riding shot. I kinda wish they'd do another but since the plot by now is mainly driven by Loki and improbably sized fantasy races it would have to be a lot of CGI or be disconnected from the current game, which would take away a lot of the fun.
Why would they make the outfits look so fucking amazing and then not even bother with wigs to make them actually recognisable and decent, as a cosplayer I’m so mad at the WASTE of good costumes 😭💔

This was masterfully done. With the CYL banner, and the Black Knight GHB, things could not have lined up better. The Black Knight is the representation of the great threat that one must overcome, whereas the four heroes are the manifestations of hopes and dreams. Masterfully done Nintendo and IS.
