The pop up help indicates what customization that you would like to have for the keys(e.g., auto windows down). Unless the "keys" refers to the buttons on the remote fob rather a physical number of keys?
What does this process do? Does it allow a new-to-me keyfob to start up my car, or is it only for the remote door locks? If it does not do starting, is there any way for VCDS or any other program to link a new key to a car for starting it up?
@@roofcamper3473 Ok. Then the procedure is only useful if you have a broken door lock or don't have a single working key or something, since there is a non-VCDS method.
@@Infiniti25 Well just to be clear VCDS cannot add a key. It just is an alternative way of programing the motherboard in a key. They only do the remote functions like opening the truck. Starting the car using an RFID transponder, and VCDS cannot handle it. But, yeah I did find a page or two on it. If I paste the url here it will get censored, so I am not sure of the point. Obviously, the car makers want ppl to go to the dealer and not be able to program transponders not just to have income but also do not lose income on the kia basis that your car can be stolen.

do you know where the vacuume pipe off the fuel regulator goes to my car is a VW MK4 GOLF 1.6 16V AZD ENGINE. The previouss owner has bodged it up with 3 seperate bits of pipes and joined them together when i pulled the pipe off the regulator it also came off at the other end cant find where the other end goes. I have a missfire so checking for vacuume leaks tried spark plugs an coils and commpressions are good to also cleaned injectors still no change. Cheers man

Hi! I did exactly what you did in the video. When I press on the keys' buttons I get the confirmation blink from side turn signals. But when I return to Centr. Conv. 46, the channel 01 shows again only one key. I have an original second key which desynchronized all of a sudden. Changed the battery. The LED on the key lights up when I press the buttons, but the adaptation on central convenience 46 fails to store 2 keys instead of one. Any help would be appreciated! Best regards!

Everything is working with my new trailer hitch, but I got some error codes I cannot delete with my old stuff I have. And always driving with error codes, means you dont see a real new error if it comes up. Anyways, I hoped the key code thing is working; and it looks really fine.
Hello, I would like to ask Your help in issue regarding to key remote adaptation. So basically during adaptation of key I am going to Modul 35(46 is unavailable as my car from 2000 year Audi A4B5 1.8T) then block 10-->00 channel-->SAVE and when I'm going to 01 or 21 channel every time I get ERROR message - The channel is unavailable and I cannot match the key, the each block is inactive. What could be the problem, why the blocks are inactive???

Tried this in my 2011 Jetta TDI, everything works until I try to enter a new value. the stored value comes up as 0, and I am unable to save or test with the new number. The only thing it lets me do is enter 0 in the new value field, only then does the save button work. Not sure what is going on. I've looked at making sure my firewall was disabled and every other thing I've found online. nothing works. Any info would be appreciated.

I've tried (unsuccessfully) to do this so many times over the past couple of years, and failing again at this exact moment! Pressing read on Channel 00 just does nothing. When I select channel 21 (the remote adap for my A4 B6), I get an information bubble explaining how to do it, but clicking Read again seems to do nothing. It does not retrieve a stored value and the Test value box remains disabled. Ever seen this?

This only allows you to use the remote for locking, unlocking, trunk open and alarm. Pairing a new key to the immobilizer is a whole separate battle

Hi, my audi a6c5 , central lock module was burnt, so I changed the new one. Unfornately, the remote could not learn. I'm not sure if VAGCOM will help?

I did the same steps and the car flashes when I press the unlock/lock button but after exiting the controller, remote Still does not work.

NO. Windows only. but you can install windows using bootcamp or parallels. That's what I did and it works like a charm

well you need the right key and the right software to do it. I use vvdi, xtool and vcds just for this.

Do you realize that you don’t need VCDS to program remotes? All you need is one that’s already programmed, and one that’s not.
That works great if the car doesn't have any malfunctioning door switches, many older cars do have this issue.
