While it may not have been in a WWE ring but he was a part of WWE a few times nonetheless, gotta mention Sabu. Dude basically put his arm back together during a barbwire match against Terry Funk in ECW. It's fucking impressive to say the least
HHH getting his throat crushed by RVD. Taker being burnt by flames on the way to the ring. Also Shane landing on his head after the botched belly to belly suplex by Angle and then told him to do it again!! Not a bad list but definitely would of included those on here.
Exactly what I was thinking!! ANd also the time Triple H got dry ice sprayed all over his abdomen and still worked a match... Or the time Triple H had his throat crushed by RVD in the Elimination Chamber and still wrestled for like 10 minutes to win the match
Taker suffered a lot of major injuries all through out his career. Especially the time when he suffered a broken rib during one of his matches in a house show. According to Triple H, he was one of those people who helped Taker strap a kevlar vest to his sides with tape just so he can go on to his next match instead of going to the hospital.
HHH earned my total respect for the way he dealt with those Quad Injuries. That first one especially. His own Doctors didn't believe how he finished the Match, with how severely he had injured himself. Kurt Angle is a damn Cyborg, and Foley is Immortal.
Wait, so Sin Cara is on the list after dislocating his finger and stopping the match, however, you don't mention the *Undertaker* going through a Elimination Chamber match after 2nd degree burn, *HHH* finishing the match with a crushed larynx, *Balor* winning the Universal title with a "labrum tear, Thorn bicep and pectoral tendon".
I think Sting’s Night Of Champions Performance should’ve been on here. Considering that he was 57 and continued the match after his body literally gave up on him.
He was in this list. And was supposed to be 3 more times. The other teard bicep. Getting his throat crushed by Ronald Van Donald (Miss ya, Blampiet!), the DRIED ICE in WM29
I don't like hhh whatsoever. I hate his mic skills, look, wrestling, and everything else.. he sucks!! But I gotta be honest he's one tough sob. My respect.

If we're gonna talk about Sin Cara and mid match injuries, then Hunico, the current Sin Cara dislocated his shoulder in a match against the New Day, I believe Big E, yet still finished the match, even hitting a rolling senton on Big E.
@@jewmanjones4910 Regular people? I doubt they could continue. But he's supposed to be a professional entertainer, who was paid to actually put his body on the line. Hell, Orton dislocated his right shoulder and still kept the match going.
You forgot Mankind against The Rock in the Royal Rumble. The 18 chair shots to the head that Mick Foley said that in that moment he truly became the Mankind character.
IMO, HHH is the man! Detached quad, neck injury, crushed larynx and other, that's a tough SOB! Foley is just insane he put himself through a lot of pain following the script. Taker, Stone Cold and Bret Hart have my respect as well. Now I have a soft spot for Shawn Michaels because he went through the back pain for years and then had a addiction and beat that too. Love the 80's + 90's wrestling eras, some of the best in WWE. These guys are athletes for our entertainment. Worth every dime!
A few things..... A) How in the blue hell (pun intended) did Sin Cara get number 1? B) And what about the following: 1. Kurt Angle wrestled with a broken tailbone 2. Triple H 2nd quad 3. Triple H Wretlemania dry ice burn 4. Undertaker fought with broken ribs 5. Undertaker and his pyro burn 6. Mick Foley in his I Quit match 7. John Cena with a shattered nose 8. Randy Orton fought through a broken collar bone 9. Mick Foley when he lost his ear 10. Triple H when RVD crushed his throat in the chamber ANY one of those would be a far better pick because Cara bitched out
I remember watching Austin vs the rock at wm19 when I saw Austin walk out during his entrance and seeing in his blue eyes and in that stone cold swagger the first thing that came to my mind was, “damn Austin looks dead”. And the whole match had rock carrying the entire match and him to the finish, but he got through it. Then we found out what happened prior to that match and that was the very last match that we ever saw Austin wrestle in. Oh yeah he came back but only as an on camera non wrestling role.
I think the more amazing part about Mick Foley and Undertaker at KotR 1998 is that they weren't done for the night. Mick went backstage and got his lip stitched shut. Afterwards Mick and Taker did a spot in the main event which was a first blood match between Stone Cold and Kane.
Carlos Gallego Yeah, but I’m sure the same could be said for a lot of other wrestlers too, especially back then when they weren’t quite as strict about injuries being checked by a doctor before the wrestlers could get in the ring again.
You can have Wrestlemania 17 if you want, I'll name Wrestlemania 19 as the greatest of all time. The emotion of Austin-Rock knowing it was Austin's last match is better than their title feud, Lesnar and Angle was great desire both men being hurt and the undercard is just better. I'll take Matt Hardy Vs Rey Mysterio, McMahon vs Hogan and Jericho vs HBK any day of the week. Wrestlemania 17 gets praise for being a great show, and it was, but the argument for that rarely goes past the main event and TLC2. There were a lot of short filler matches like APA/Tazz Vs RTC, Eddie Guerrero vs Test, Chyna vs Ivory and the Gimmick Battle Royal that nostalgia often lets people forget. From a wrestling perspective, 19 is just a better show.
Triple H has torn his quad completely off the bone, tore his quad again, and tore his pectoral muscle during that super showdown match and every time he’s still finished the match like nothing happened. How people can still not respect the guy is beyond me
The Sin Cara dislocated finger was a bitch move, especially considering all the other things said in the video and worse not mentioned. Through playing Rugby i've dislocated my fingers, my knee and then my other knee not long after (due to relying on the "good" knee too much) and shoulder injuries but I still carried on. My knees still occasionally pop out of place, but despite the pain I just force them back in.
I remember two NXT videos where they had Cirque du Soleil performers, three Olympians, a Greco-Roman wrestler all training at NXT, it was fascinating to here their opinions about it but I think they should get some UFC fighters to train with them to, hell take some bumps from a chair shot or go through a table while they’re at it. Be interesting to see what they think.
Randy Orton when he broke his collarbone against Triple H? Randy Orton when he tore his shoulder against batista? Randy Orton when his shoulder dangled outta of it's socket for continuous moments?
my picks are: Mick Foley at King Of The Ring 98 Sabu vs Terry Funk in a Barbed Wire match (the dude taped a gash in his forearm shut and carried on) Triple H’s quad tear Numerous matches involving Hardcore Holly (Broken neck, broken arm, massive gash in his back he still finished the matches) Anything involving Mick Foley Shane McMahons concussion during a match with Angle in 2001 at King Of The Ring Steve Austin’s neck injury against Owen Hart and won the IC Title Brocks Shooting Star Press (how he didn’t die is beyond me) HBKs back injury that put him on the shelf for 4 years (the fact that he continued the match and competed at WrestleMania 14 was nothing short of gutsy) Joey Mercury’s face meeting a ladder Bret suffering that kick to the head and continuing the match
Paul Roma at Wrestlemania 7 had an injury and risked death to take the doomsday device. Also technically in JCP, but Road warrior Hawk went into the Starrcade 1986 skywalkers match with a broken ankle that was taped up.
You forgot the rock's injury doing the Wrestlemania 29 match, which saw him need surgery immediately afterwards (he couldn't even show at the following night's RAW that he was advertised to be on) and is probably why studios won't let him back to WWE for a lengthy match
There's being tough, and there's being stubborn to the point of stupidity. On the one hand, I can't help but be amazed at the things they fight through to put on a good show for the fans. That said, there's nothing wrong with saying "I'm done" when it's an injury that could leave you paralyzed, or, worse, dead.
Re Sin Cara's finger: Bret Hart dislocated his finger vs Ric Flair in the match where he dethroned Flair for the WWF title, but popped it back into place and continued with the match. What about Bruno Sammartino vs Stan Hansen, April 1976? Hansen botched a bodyslam and dropped Bruno on his neck, breaking it? Bruno wrestled the remainder of the match as scripted, and didn't change a thing. He even bladed his forehead to get Hansen over. Then he passed out in the locker room while showering afterwards. The man was/is a beast, and never gets the credit he deserves. He never used steroids either. Sin Cara was athletic as hell, but in the grand scheme of things, Del Rio was right.
I think the problem with Sin Cara wasn't that he'd hurt himself and couldn't finish, it's that, rather than getting Alberto to cover him quickly or put him in the arm bar, he decided to shout the ref and have the match stopped and make a big deal about it. As with all the others in the list, some times you need a moment, but eventually you find a way to quickly end the match and get to the back. Sin Cara had the ref stop the match right then and there because he was bad at his job and hit his finger on the rope. Neville and Y2J called the match to end by actually coming up with a new finish (twice), Stone Cold rolled up Owen and finished the match, HHH took a friggin walls on the table and finished the match. All of these guys could have lay down and given up but they didn't they respected the art of wrestling and the storytelling and found a way to make sure they honoured the sport they love by finishing.
Shane McMahon could get an honorable mention for when Angle mangled him at King of the Ring, Pretty sure he left parts of his skull by the entrance way.
It is titled Finished the match. After that botch, Joeys immediately left the match because his eye was already swollen and his nose was broke 3 ways from hell.
on wwecw, there was a tag match between angle/rvd vs pre rated rko edge and orton. randy dislocates his shoulder. pops it back in. and you can see randy crying on the apron it hurt so much.
John Willis it was a sit out version of the tombstone piledriver. A regular one wouldn't have had his head so low. If you watch the match, you see Owen set up a regular tombstone and then drops to his ass. It's basically half a tombstone and half a regular piledriver
Owen did the tombstone to other superstars like bret hart at Mania 10. Austin's head was by his knees (which is for a tombstone) which meant his head was way too low for a sit out piledriver. I'd accept the reverse piledriver answer, if Owen didn't already do a regular tombstone piledriver by that point.
I once broke and dislocated my finger and I did finish not only the rugby match in which the injury happened but also the entiry tournament. When I went to the doctor he was like are you crazy? But honestly those were probably the best matches in my carreer and the pain really wasn'T that bad. Plus everything was OK after some weeks with a cast - so all in all it was well worth it.
I tore a small muscle in my quad and I consider it some worst pain I have ever experienced. Shattering my knee in a car accident wouldnt be same ballpark. Triple H finishing that match just shows how dedicated he is.
What about Rock getting a hernia and continuing his match w/ Cena at WM29? Cena taking on Daniel Bryan despite his tricep tear? Didn't Sid finish a fatal four way match after shattering his leg? Steve Austin at WM13? Triple H when he tore his other quad? You know what? A top 10 list doesnt do these superstars justice. It needs to be 20, 50, hell even 100 instances. The list could be filled easily.
Undertaker wrestling with that face mask after Mabel crushed his face, or literally taping a flack jacket to himself because he had broken ribs. Finn Balor is another good one or Cena when Rollins broke his nose.
That match was amazing despite what Kurt was going through. Imagine if he had full control of both arms and didn't have a broken freakin neck. Same with Austin, almost died and had a great send off match.
How about Triple H at the first Elimination Chamber at Survivor Series 2002? Rob Van Dam landed a knee on his throat and crushed his larynx. HHH literally couldn't breathe but somehow kept going!
I'm a little shocked triple h blowing out his knee then continuing the fight eventually pedigreeing orton through the announce table. I've had knee injuries and I'm amazed that he was able to continue on let alone use a pedigree a move that requires you to land on your knee.
Undertaker had broken his ribs during a match and then the next night, got wrestlers to duck tape a flap jacket to his ribs and then he went out and wrestled... to me, that's got to be the best example of loyalty and reliability
I would have thought Vader would be on here popping his eyeball back in and fighting or Sabu when he freaking ripped his bicep clear off and taped the damn thing back during a match! Mick Foley should definitely be number 1 though as he had a million injuries he fought through in lots of matches.
I kinda side with Sin Cara on that one, i had a basketball hit my middle finger fast once and it hurt for weeks with pain shooting even if i tried to move it, understandably, it's different when u injure your finger vs you injuring your back, as with both, its very hard to work a match.
No love for Cena wrestling with a separated pectoral? Either way, kudos to the men and women who put their asses and everything else on the line for the love of the sport. Their resilience is why we love it and them back.
Finn Balor with a separated shoulder at Summerslam 2016? John Cena took a knee to the nose from Seth Rollins on a random episode of RAW? Should at least get honourable mentions I reckon.
Mick Foley has enough moments to fill the entire list

Simonculture must be making bank now
The Rock tore himself to shreds in his 2nd match against Cena at Wrestlemania, but you'd never know looking at him during the match!
And also Joey Mercury in that ladder spot against the Hardy's
It is titled Finished the match. After that botch, Joeys immediately left the match because his eye was already swollen and his nose was broke 3 ways from hell.
No mention of Eddie Guerrero finishing his match on RAW after dislocating his elbow after a frog splash?
on wwecw, there was a tag match between angle/rvd vs pre rated rko edge and orton. randy dislocates his shoulder. pops it back in. and you can see randy crying on the apron it hurt so much.
I was at the show HHH tore his quad at. My first wwe show i ever went to. Great main event i had no idea he was hurt til i got home
shocked hhh's wood shard wasnt on list (royal rumble 2000)
Yeah 2000 royal rumble vs mankind i believe. There was a hole in his calf
Why do people keep saying Owen Tombstoned Austin?!?! It was just a REGULAR PILEDRIVER! COME ON SIMON!!!!
John Willis it was a sit out version of the tombstone piledriver. A regular one wouldn't have had his head so low. If you watch the match, you see Owen set up a regular tombstone and then drops to his ass. It's basically half a tombstone and half a regular piledriver
Owen did tombstoned austin , a regular piledriver are like jerry lawler does
It was a belly to belly sit down piledriver.
aka a reverse piledriver.
Haha Del Rio "Stop being a baby!"
Both Undertaker and Mick Foley are notorious for having an unbelievable high tolerance threshold for pain
The ECW superstars for me are the toughest by far... those guys should have they own list, props to all Wrestlers tho
I tore a small muscle in my quad and I consider it some worst pain I have ever experienced. Shattering my knee in a car accident wouldnt be same ballpark. Triple H finishing that match just shows how dedicated he is.
Simon is the only reason to watch Watchculture anymore.
That king of the ring match between taker and foley is where the wrestling world stops till this day.
Kevin Nash's torn quads disliked this video.
What, you mean to tell me that Angle wrestled with a BROKEN FREAKIN' NECK, again?! No way.
At Summerslam 2003 Lesnar fought Angle, after Angle had put Lesnar in the ankle lock, Lesnar tried an F5 and dumped Kurt right on his head.
Vince McMahon Royal Rumble 2005???
Tearing both quads.....
Having to pretend that there's nothing wrong ..?
I'm a little shocked triple h blowing out his knee then continuing the fight eventually pedigreeing orton through the announce table. I've had knee injuries and I'm amazed that he was able to continue on let alone use a pedigree a move that requires you to land on your knee.
It take a high threshold of pain and a bottle of prescription pain killer for alot of these guys.
0:31 Look at dem 24inch pythons brother!!!
Bret Hart didn't need anyone to make him look like a million bucks.
Cubbie Blue if you're not old enough you don't know how good mr. Perfect was in the ring
This old I know but I respect cara for that he’s protecting his career he need to save his fingers if he’s able 🤜🏽🤛🏽
I kinda side with Sin Cara on that one, i had a basketball hit my middle finger fast once and it hurt for weeks with pain shooting even if i tried to move it, understandably, it's different when u injure your finger vs you injuring your back, as with both, its very hard to work a match.
You missed Becky Quinn's concussion to where she took time away. I would have liked to see ones like that. Great list though.
No love for Cena wrestling with a separated pectoral? Either way, kudos to the men and women who put their asses and everything else on the line for the love of the sport. Their resilience is why we love it and them back.
Triple H is a true Legend!
Paige reported 😘
Paige True
Now I know why you kept your job a little...sucking up
F1U1C1K1NGninjas not the real paige Stupid
Alvin white what??? You've gotta be fucking kidding me. What a sneaky swerve holy gee golly fuck.
Titles is missing a few words at the end, "with a crap ton of narcotic painkillers."
Finn Balor with a separated shoulder at Summerslam 2016? John Cena took a knee to the nose from Seth Rollins on a random episode of RAW? Should at least get honourable mentions I reckon.
