It is not learnt like a human language because it comes from your spirit as the Holy spirit leads. It is the Holy spirit who gives the utterance. Refer to Acts 2:1-4 In order to receive the gift of speaking in tongues, sincerely desire the gift. Saturate yourself with the word of God, spend time in worship and fellowship with the Holy spirit and ask Him to give you utterance. Open your mouth and He will fill it. While you wait to receive the gift, I want you to know that even though you do not speak in tongues yet, it does not make you less of a child of God.
