Thanks this video brought back so many memories of home I grew up in south central was living on 67th and Crenshaw when I had to leave in 2018 to move to Georgia to take care of my 86 year old mother. Before I lived off the shaw I grew up off 88th and Vermont so seeing Fig and all those hoods was a major flashback. I've been gone 5years this coming September thanks again for recognizing the hood. As Naughty by Nature would say it's the craziest. Much respect due to Watts and the brotha' KAM.
I"ve never seen it either and I've driven up and down Figueroa many times over the past 20 years. I'm shocked this exists. Now I want to check it again, it's been a few years since I've been down there. Maybe it's a new thing since covid. I thought the internet killed street workers.
I don't understand why many of them wear such ridiculous shoes. Running in these shoes would be very difficult, and it's easy to imagine that they can find themselves in situations where they have to run fast for their safety.
Apparently the "sexy" heels bring in enough customers to make the pain worthwhile. When you're risking venereal disease, pregnancy, and abduction, podiatric health isn't exactly your top concern.
Los Angeles is a beautiful place, I’ve been there once and absolutely fell in love with the surroundings all around the place, all the big buildings, the houses, the museums, and just walking around on the sidewalk in the path of oncoming walking pedestrians it was a wonderful time
