É verdadeiramente impressionante, a execução deste tema. Violino música e violinista, plenamente unidos. Incrível violinista, a minha gratidão é infinita. Grata David ❤
Interpretacion impresionante,increíble David,tu musica me fascina, te quiero mucho 💕 💛 💖 ❤️ ♥️ 💜 💕 💛 💖 ❤️ ♥️ 💜 💕 💛 💖 ❤️ ♥️ 💜 💕 💛 💖
Who could dislike this! People have forgotten what music is.
It is so nice to watch someone like David who truly enjoys the music he is playing. I also love the conductor, Gábor Takács-Nagy, and the Verbier Chamber Orchestra. They are *wonderful*!!! Watch the full version!
David Garrett is astounding!
BEAUTIFUL!!!♫❤
Génial ..
Thank you!So this is a chamber music.Very nice finest musicians together making miracles :)This is impressive .
David Garrett said he learned Beethoven's Violin Concerto from Yehudi menuhin.
And Yehudi Menuhin said.
David Garrett is the most outstanding violinist of this era.
BRILLIANT!!!!
I enjoyed this (watched the full concert!) more than any I have ever seen. David is at his best, here. The Carmen Suite (the final number) was exquisitely done, but wish David had played in it. Even so, I was spellbound through the entire concert. David is my favorite musician ever! Thanks for posting this "teaser" video! ~0:-)
He's just the one and only, awesome......
@CatalinaThePirate - I agree with you 100%. David is my favorite musician and the concert was amazing! I loved the Carmen Suite at the end. Only wish David had been in it. But, a beautiful concert, indeed!!
Que belleza DAVID ❤❤❤
David Garrett doesn't just play, he "feels" the music!!
great music...! thanks for posting this....
I have the only question: how much David Garrett has paid to the festival to perform? What a shame...
The expression of the guy on the left at 1:25 say it all: "He screwed up, you heard it too, right?"
open air concert, nobody is perfect all the time!!
True...Yehudi Menuhin, Isaac Stern, Itzakh Perlmann, Ida Händel can't ALL be stupid.
But they were ALL Garrett's teachers. You expect them to say that their own student sucks?
You hear people criticizing actors/athletes/politicians/lawyers/etc all the time. Why is it such a big deal when a musician gets criticized? I'd say this performance is "quite good" for a typical professional violinist, but not nearly world class, not nearly up to Garrett's reputation/fame.
no question it's a very difficult piece - but there are indeed violinists alive today who play it very well. Actually, most people in the violin section of this orchestra would probably play it better.
PCoderch Do you realize who you are talking to? It's Augustin Hadelich. AUGUSTIN. FUCKING. HADELICH for God's sake who is 10 times better than this blond idiot!
CookingJames1 I think that is not his real account man
The Koan Check it out. It IS his real account.
PCoderch maybe you should check out Augustin’s channel before discrediting him as an idiot? Here’s one video to get you started: ua-cam.com/video/Zg_Hf_StXzU/v-deo.html . He has several incredible videos but judging from your listening ability the fast and hard looking one may be the best way to change your mind 👍
IMPRESIONANTE INTERPRETACIÓN ♥️♥️♥️
Bellísima interpretación
@operaticxingenue Five words: It's so easy to criticize. Actually 5 1/2 words,"it's" being a conjunction. My point is,I am sick to death of people criticizing this man.The fact that he's taking time now to have the fun he never had as a child does not alter the fact that this is one of the most important violin talents of our day. Yehudi Menuhin,Isaac Stern, Itzakh Perlmann, Ida Händel can't ALL be stupid. Hopefully he'll come back to the classical world one day.Till then, lighten up everybody!!
I've never heard Garrett play classical pieces until now. Wow... for someone who has such a pedigree of teachers, and the (word of mouth) output of early recordings with respected conductors, I was expecting something else. To be fair, maybe all those years of playing cross-over music messed up his aesthetic sense and sensitivity?
@MrDeviantLord I wouldn't say hes better but he's like a wonderful violinist.
They are both good at the genre they perform
to all idiots criticizing:the beethoven violin concerto is the most difficult in the violin repertory,even the legendary violinists were afraid of playing it.david is an amazing violinist with excelent technique.go to watch his bazzini or sarasate.if he plays other kind of music doesn t mean he is not good,the man wants to make money and i respect that cuz he deserves to make money he worked hard for that.and in the world that we live pop music is much more apriciated than classical
@engelvonsonne i do not think many people are disagreeing here dude, its just that david guetta is more popular among us "younger" people and people seen the name david g... and instantly thought of guetta.
How I can get this full concierco?, Thank you very much
@superhooyooman He can wear whatever he wants. As a god of violin it has became his right
Anybody knows why he is sitting on the chair? Untasty parody of Perlman?
poor guy, I wouldn't like to be on his place, this smiles of orchestra members...Maisky currently plays also with many intonation mistakes but nobody says one word of critic and Kremer doesn't protest to play with him...however they both WERE brilliant musicians...
that's ridiculous. There are countless soloists alive today who can play more beautifully and much more in tune.
Augustin, I heard you play a recital several years ago in Little Rock, Arkansas and was impressed by your technical ability. You are one of the best technicians in the world today and are also solid musically. However, I can't say I was moved or sensed a striking or profound musical personality at work. This is in contrast to arguably the most famous violinist of his generation, Joshua Bell. Bell doesn't have your technique or tone, but manages somehow to be the most poetic and original violinist I have heard in a long time. The second movement of his Barber concerto recording is breathtaking and he gets under the skin of the music in a way that nobody else that I have heard today has. He has an incredible sense of nuance, dynamic and tonal shading. Even though he plays with less vibrato than most other violinists, he still manages to play with more emotion, drama and is a masterful storyteller on the violin. I am hoping that you too will mature into a great artist as well with a similar range of expression.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
So this is what Kremer ment and I quote "REAL artists like those that we still remember, haven’t vanished completely. But the “greenery” of Verbier rather contributes to forgetting them and hails mystifications and substitutes of those, who truly served ART. Opposing such a tendency...Lately being warn out by so many dissatisfying partnerships..." Perfect example is this very "personal" interpretation of the Beethoven Concerto.
@mcOctogono Só pra te enformar, ele não é o David Guetta, e sim David Garrett !*
is there a reason why he is sitting down?
OK, I'm not watching here..I'm just listening--I don't hear any screw ups..so please, what are you talking about? Did DG mess up phrasing, technique, the notes? I'm fairly new at this music and I just don't hear any goof ups...my ear is not trained to notice such things. Educate me here is all I ask. I'm NOT--repeat NOT being disrespectful to anyone here..including David Garrett.--Violin is not easy but I am enjoying it so far!--Sincerely, Joni
It's a good performance... but you can hear that David's pop career does affect his overall techenique. There's a lack of subtlety in this concerto. Could have been a bad day for him probably, but yeah, it's not world class, just really good. He plays on the same level, or even worse then some of his other performances from decades ago... but damn, I have to admit that I do like when he plays Smooth Criminal hahaha!
¿Usted vio "Night of the Proms 2002, David Garrett, Violin Konzert in D"?
i mean... how many people thought this was a david guetta video?? my god! you are really ignorant! guetta is such a good dj but he has nothing to do with david garret... i mean it's sad to see how young people is not anymore follower of classic beautiful music and go over dj's and stuff... it's not bad but this kind of music is also very good... and no, i'm not an old woman complaining about young people... i'm 22... however... David Garret is an Angel of Music!!
Ah, David Garret's impressive rehearsal tempo. It's okay. i'm sure he tried real hard
@IZn0g0uDatAll are you talking about the gitlis that is 90 years old?even that one doesn t play out of tune,and no other violinist performed untill so old
@mcOctogono ele não é o david gueta e sim garret...
@uomobanale Just bevause you did it, doesn't mean all else did!
Who ist David Guetta?
@Shattrproof I think all that people who came here thinking in David Guetta,,,supids! They dont know how to appreciate a masterpiece like this :D
@aleh: Jealousy......
@MikalSok
Hahahahaha wtf same here :D
It's like...Huh ? Where did i land here ?! :D
@knittastick
He already smashed one. He fell down the steps at the Royal Festival Hall and flattened his Strad! Oops! :0)
Waste of a beautiful instrument though.....
this is really not very good
my name is Garrett :)
@MikalSok hahahah soo sure it was david guetta....great violinist though!
@MikalSok Hmm.. Myes. I too, have an uncle!
I'm sorry, but this performance is not very good... It's out of tune, there's so much excessive vibrato, the phrasing is distasteful, there's no variety of sound, and the tone is harsh. I'm pretty sure any of the fine violinists in the violin section of this orchestra would be able to play better. In fact, I recognize some of the violinists in the orchestra and know that they'd be able to give a much better performance. No offense to David Garrett, he's great at performing many other things.
I was Sure the title said David Guetta...
@krasseskifahrerin
er kanns einfach :)
new, someware betenn the scred silece, scred silece slip
if they hate him, it's probably because every single one of them could play 100 times better than this. I can't believe that the audience didn't walk out.
Garrett is undoubtedly a violinist with a brilliant talent. He plays both classical and pop music and has excellent composing skills.
There are too many performers who only play by reading music.
But the realm of creation is another story.
The new era wants a new performer.
David Garrett is just that kind of performer.
Garrett is the most talented performer.
It will be recorded as the violinist who contributed most to the popularization of violins. This alone makes him the best violinist.
And Yehudi Menuhin said.
David Garrett is the most outstanding violinist of this era.
@horiludu ahaha good one man ''wanna be perlman''
David Guetta? Where? #LOL
@MikalSok lmao me to hahahahahh
the headband is a bit tacky, but overall excellent performance haha
lol i misread as david guetta,i was like >:(
then i saw its classical,i was like :)
im not really into classical music,but at least its real music,and not some comercial shit that sound the same everytime
then i was like :/
then i thought about music industry and mainstream music again and became :,(
@MikalSok me to jaja lol
@KCting95 Just like me :)
Thums up if u tought it said David Guetta.
:53 and on, he's so flat...
i admire the fact that he doesn't respect such stupid norms. The way that he dresses doesn't influence his music and shouldn't influence the way you hear it. everybody should be comfortable when they play music
Does he have a problem that makes him unable to play onhis fit?? or he is a wannabe Perlman?
This is really not a very good performance, I heard it way better many times!
@operaticxingenue you obviously are some kind of wanna be musician...i have actually rarely heard this concerto with this kind of intonation...it is actually notorious for the intonation problems it causes musicians...so its pretty well intonated
David Guetta...
@dieg0plata Lern lesen und schreiben.
wow he just attacks this piece.. and not in a good way
it's kind of sad to see the less experienced violin player to have all the fame and in front of the more experienced players who get payed less behind.
15 people like hiphop>o<
ahahahahahahaha.....What is this?!?!?
@operaticxingenue Ivry Gitlis plays outrageously out of tune and he is still one of the great violinists of last century.
Problem of Garreth is not his intonation. His problem is that he is bad.
gay over
Looks a complete berk and the playing is rough.
@operaticxingenue Lucidly put, pithy and to the point. Thank you so much for sharing that with us. You are indeed well on your way to becoming the first Pulitzer Prize winner in the category Dislexic Literature for Autists. Incidentally (if I may be permitted to say): a deft rhetorical touch that, introducing the main clause with "ugh." Move over Jacqueline Suzanne.
